Today I celebrate 6 years cancer-free. While the journey hasn’t been easy, it has absolutely been worth it. Cancer is a battle, and the healing process afterward is a journey of its own.
I’m incredibly grateful for God’s grace and for the unwavering support of my family and friends who stood by me every step of the way. Your encouragement, love, and prayers carried me through some of the toughest moments.
This milestone is a reminder of strength, resilience, and the power of faith and community. The journey continues, and I remain thankful for every day forward.

(PART TWO)

This past year has brought me countless amounts of laughter, tears, smiles, joy, and new beginnings. There are truly too many people to tag and this video doesn’t even begin to do justice to all the amazing memories I’ve created but to everyone in this video (and some people not pictured) I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You’ve made this experience into AKAland worthwhile while and I can’t imagine my life without you all in it. Cheers to one year and forever to go. 💖💚

Happy, happy birthday to my little sister! My built in best friend. The person who stole my birthday and made it twenty times better!!! From the moment we met I knew I would do everything in my power to protect you. I love you now just like I loved you then and I’m so proud of the young lady you’re becoming. It is a privilege too watch and be apart of your growth. Although at times we may butt heads I hope you know that I am always your best friend and I am always going to be here for you! Happy 13th birthday bunny 🥰🥳🎂💖

BEST SPRING BREAK EVER!!!! I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to Co-Lead and spearhead a community service/learning trip to Ghana! This was a profound experience that has not only impacted the way I view Africa but also myself and the entire world! I want to say thank you to everyone who has been there, supported me, and made this trip possible. Special thank you’s to God, my mommy, my family, NYU Alternative Breaks, Hiltop Global Group, our amazing travel guide Thelma, my site advisors, my fellow site leader, and the 11 beautiful women who trusted me (the youngest person on the trip) to lead them. 🎀 A Heartfelt Thank You to Inspiring Life Together! 🎀

I am beyond grateful to Inspiring Life Together for their generosity in offering 12 breast cancer survivor/thrivers a FREE copy of The Wellness Path: Nurturing Your Mind, Body, and Soul with Faith and Practice! 📖✨ Their mission—to care for moms undergoing breast cancer treatment and their families by providing essential goods and services that nurture their mental, physical, and emotional well-being—aligns so beautifully with the heart of The Wellness Path.

This isn’t just a workbook—it’s a faith-filled guide to holistic healing, offering survivors and thrivers the tools to renew their minds, restore their bodies, and strengthen their spirits. 💖 And thanks to Inspiring Life Together, more women will have access to the wellness resources they need on their journey.

💗 This partnership is deeply personal to me. In 2022, when I received a non-invasive breast cancer diagnosis, Inspiring Life Together was there—offering support, care, and love during a time of uncertainty. Their kindness reminded me of the power of community, faith, and compassion in healing. Now, I have the honor of giving back and standing alongside them in their mission to uplift other women walking this journey.

🌱 Healing is more than just physical—it’s mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. I pray that each woman who receives this book feels empowered, renewed, and reminded that she is never alone.

📖 Want to grab your own copy of The Wellness Path? Purchase it today on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DZRP2QPV?ref_=ppx_hzod_title_dt_b_fed_asin_title_0_0

📢 If you or your organization is interested in sponsoring copies for breast cancer survivors, please email info@drchalice.com. Together, we can continue to bring hope and healing!

💬 Drop a 💕 in the comments if you believe in the power of faith, community, and healing!

🚨 Reflecting on this incredible journey! 🚨
In 2021, I launched Talk the Wellness Tea with Dr. Chalice on my DrChalice.com YouTube channel. My first-ever live discussion was Self-Compassion: Part I, and I’ll never forget the support of my dear friends Claudia (26 years strong!) and Naeemah (over 13 years!). 💖
In 2022, I took a small hiatus as I faced a personal challenge—being diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ. But in 2023, I came back stronger, launching my first Pinktober Series in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The panels were filled with phenomenal experts and special guests who brought invaluable insights, now archived under the "Live" tab on my channel. 💕🎗
Fast forward to late 2024:We took a leap of faith and elevated Talk the Wellness Tea to in-person guest interviews! Season 1 was a game-changer, diving deep into all things mental, physical, and spiritual health. Your stories of resilience, triumph, and healing were so powerful that in just two months, our YouTube family grew from 1.9K to over 6K subscribers! 🎉✨
To everyone who shared their time, expertise, and personal stories—THANK YOU. 🙌 Your courage and authenticity have touched thousands of lives. To everyone who tuned in—your support means the world.
If you haven’t yet, head over to the DrChalice.com YouTube channel. Like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell so you never miss an episode. It’s only up from here! 🚀
Here’s to more stories, healing, and growth in 2025.
