The last few weeks have been an adventure. Made new friends, spent time with old friends, watched my kids start a new school year with so much joy, have felt the love of the Lord in very specific ways, and have thoroughly enjoyed being the hype woman for as many people as possible. “Grateful” doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Spent the last week with lots of talented & like-minded women songwriters, and it was such a gift! I went into this week expecting only one thing: to grow. That expectation was met in many more ways than one🌻

I grew by working my songwriting muscle. I grew by listening and learning from @ritaspringer , @laurenscottbarnes & @staceywillbur . I grew in friendship with all the other writers & artists experiencing this alongside me. All the while I’m quite literally growing a precious baby boy!

Thankful that following the Lord’s footsteps leads me to places I could’ve never gotten to on my own. Here’s to continuing to learn and grow every step of the way!

Full heart after a little visit to Nashville joining @womenwritersrevolution for a few days with some other indie artists!

BIG SHOUTOUT to @ritaspringer @staceywillbur @laurenscottbarnes for making room at the table for the hidden ones. There is a new sound coming from the underground.

This is just the beginning 🤍

What a gift it was to be a part of the @womenwritersrevolution camp this week. From the moment I received the invitation until I got home, there were countless moments where I felt so seen by the Lord. I have tears in my eyes just thinking about it.

I can’t thank @ritaspringer and @laurenscottbarnes enough for their obedience to the Lord to create this space for women, for their encouragement, and for investing in us in such an intentional way. Thank you to @jackiepatillo and @staceywillbur for sharing your wisdom. And I’m so grateful for the team at @timpublishing, who so graciously hosted us this week.

And to the women at this camp- it was beautiful to see the many gifts God has given you, but it was even better to hear your hearts and get to know you. I am so excited to see what the Lord does in each of your lives, and can’t wait to cheer each of you on every step of the way. 🤍

Still processing the last couple days and the wealth of community, sisterhood, mentoring, and lifelong priceless memories from @womenwritersrevolution - I am so incredibly honored and thankful to have been able to be a part. Thank you @ritaspringer and @laurenscottbarnes for dreaming this and breaking the ceiling wide open for women in Christian music and pouring in to us, and thank you to @staceywillbur and @timpublishing for supporting and championing this vision. Until next time!

if you can’t donate, a share works too! My friend & her family were in a house fire a few days ago, they lost EVERYTHING.
