We’re asking everyone who believes in our culture, our history, our youth, and the beauty of our community to come out and support the effort to bring Mexican heritage and Aztec culture murals to Raintree Park.

Chicano Park and Balderama Park have shown what culturally meaningful public art can do for a community. Now it’s time for Vista to create its own space that reflects the people and history that make this city what it is.

🗓️ MARK YOUR CALENDAR

• City hall Council Meeting
• Time: 5:30 PM
• Location: City Council Chambers (2nd Floor) at the Vista Civic Center, located at 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, CA 92084.

SHOW UP & BE HEARD . Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your voice.

Don’t just post about change .BE PRESENT when decisions are being made.

LET’S MAKE SURE OUR COMMUNITY IS REPRESENTED through out the 760 🪶🤎

If no one is gonna defend us, then I sure as hell won’t sit back and watch while our communities continue to be terrorized and get closer to home .

Instead of posting bullshit, talking shit, or arguing online, do something productive. Show up. Stand with your community. Speak up. Support the people putting themselves out there by joining their patrol teams

But before heading out, take care of yourself and each other. Go with people you trust, have a plan for getting home, keep your phone charged, bring water and any medications you need, and make sure someone you trust knows where you’ll be. Stay aware of your surroundings, don’t isolate yourself and if you can’t put up a good fight leave if the situation starts getting dangerous. Look out for the people around you, especially anyone who may need help.

Protect yourself, protect each other, and know when it’s time to walk away.

Be safe out there. We need everybody coming home.

We will get through this.
We overcome. We endure. We stand together.

Catch y’all on the flip side.

Hasta la victoria. ✊🏽🪶 VIVA LA CAUSA , always

Justice for you Mija 🤎🪶

Our children deserve to be protected, heard, and believed. No family should have to fight alone for justice, and no child should ever be forgotten. We’re standing together in support of #EmilyCortez and all children who deserve justice, protection, and accountability.

📍 Lincoln Heights Park
📅 October 9th
⏰ 2:00 PM
📍 3724 N Mission Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90031

If you’re from the community, bring your voice, your family, and your support. Unity is the justice they fear.

JUSTICE FOR EMILY. JUSTICE FOR OUR CHILDREN. 🤎

Justice for you mija and for the many others who have been hurt by someone they trusted a close relative, someone in a position of authority, or anyone who made them feel too afraid to speak up.

We hear you. Some of us have lived through similar experiences, and we know how difficult it can be to find your voice. But we’re going to be the adults we needed when we were children. We’re going to speak up, stand beside survivors, and do everything we can to protect our children.

Believe them. Listen to them. Protect them. 🤎

Well done sister @iamimenz213 for this template to open up the tough dialogue with these little ones .
