🌙🏃🏽‍♀️ LAST WEDNESDAY
CHASE THE MOON | BATTERSEA PARK 🌙

There’s something special about running. The joy, the challenge, the hard work, the freedom of hitting the roads and reminding yourself what you’re capable of. 💪🏽❤️

But you know what makes it even better? The people you meet along the way. 🥹❤️

Strangers who come together one by one, week by week, run by run… and somehow become people you genuinely look forward to seeing. People who start off as familiar faces and end up feeling like family.

Different ages, different paces, different abilities, different goals… but one thing in common: we’re all out here trying, supporting, laughing, encouraging and occasionally questioning our life choices halfway through a run! 😂😂

The energy is infectious, the support is real, the care is genuine, and the laughs? Well, some of us probably burn more calories laughing than running! 🤣

This is more than turning up to run. It’s turning up for each other. It’s celebrating the PBs, cheering on the ones digging deep, encouraging those who need it and making sure nobody feels like they’re doing this alone.

We came for the running, but we’re staying for the family. ❤️🖤

And if you know, you KNOW… 🎶🔥

Kim is the girl you want

KIM FAMILY 🖤💛 | ROYAL PARKS HALF MARATHON 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️

Our very own CEO, master of ceremonies Dr Epic, was on official compare duties, and trust me, we could hear him from MILES away! 😂📣 And then there was our incredible KIM cheer family, spreading that same energy all around the course. The noise, the vibes, the encouragement… UNMATCHED! 🔥

KIM runners of all ages, paces and abilities showed up and showed OUT! Some came to chase PBs and absolutely SMASHED them. Some supported their KIM fam out on the course. Others were on the sidelines cheering loudly, bringing the VIBES and making sure nobody felt alone out there. ❤️

THIS is what a running family looks like. THIS is support. THIS is kinship. 🖤

It’s showing up for each other, celebrating each other’s wins and lifting each other when the going gets tough. It’s genuine, heartfelt support that makes you feel BIGGER than life, never smaller. We lift each other up; we NEVER drop each other. 🙌🏾

Whether you’re running, walking, pacing, chasing a PB or holding a banner and screaming your lungs out, you belong. Every effort matters. Every person matters. Every cheer matters.

What a JOY and a privilege to be part of this incredible family of runners. The Royal Parks Half was about so much more than the miles today. It was about COMMUNITY, CONNECTION and LOVE of KIM🥹❤️

KIM FAMILY — WE KEEP IT MOVIN’, TOGETHER! 🔥🖤💛
Thank you @the_adventuresofdrepic @fitness_queenab Always

| A few days on from the @ealinghalfmarathon, and I’m still reflecting on this one. ❤️

Ealing will always be a special race for me because it’s where I ran my very first official half marathon - so coming back year after year never gets old.

My Apple GPS however, decided it wasn’t particularly interested in helping me out this time 🫠 Unreliable splits and distance had me convinced I was running slower than I actually was, but I’ll take the official results instead — 1:57:28. A fantastic result and my 2nd fastest time at Ealing 🥈

And today marks exactly 2 years since I ran my first ever sub-2-hour half marathon - right here at Ealing. I remember just how proud I was that day. At the time, breaking 2 hours felt like the achievement. The goal I had worked so hard for and genuinely wasn’t sure I could reach.

Now, what was once the goal has become the expectation.

And I think that’s something worth remembering. Because when the goal becomes the expectation, don’t forget to celebrate the fact that you once dreamed of exactly where you are now. 🏃‍♂️🍾

Always grateful for the running community too — brilliant seeing so many familiar faces at Ealing, including @runrick2fit and @iamindrakumar, and the crowds were incredible as always. Year after year, they line the streets and bring the noise. There’s just something about the Ealing feeling that makes this race so special. 📣

Four years on. Still chasing. Still improving. Still loving it.

Let’s keep the fire burning. Let’s go! 🔥🏃‍♂️
