Gosh, that went by fast - first day of kindergarten and first day of senior year in college - 16 years between these two photos and oh, so many sweet memories. It hit me tonight that this is the last first day of school photo I’ll get of him. Yet another “first” in this new season that we are in that left me with a lump in my throat.

That last hug is still a very hard one - even if it’s not your first rodeo at this college drop off thing. Ask me how I know. 🥹 He’s all moved in and ready for his senior year.

All the big hugs to you all who are leaving kids at college or moving them away from home to begin this next season of their life. I get it, it’s such a bittersweet time.

And for those of you who are still a few years out from this time, just know it goes by oh so quickly. I know I probably sound like an old lady saying this, but savor all the little moments right now while you can. It’ll be here before you know it.

One final, little hoorah tonight in what could be the last summer of having all 4 of our kiddos at home. It hits me without warning sometimes that I’m standing right in the middle of the moments I’ll miss the most. I sure am crazy about these people. 🤍

I’m super excited to see what the Lord has in store for us this year! I’m also excited to spend all my free time in the LOG!!!

Hebrews 4:12

The gospel is still the answer for every searching heart! Who am I to say thats still not true for me too. Being in South Africa not only taught me many lessons but humbled me and brought me to the feet of the Father! It pealed back layers of my story to realize the very reasons why I live for Him, and seeing where I took those for granted for so long. Like why I love Him, why He is more than just a Father to me, why I gave my life to Him so many years ago, and what simple faith looks like. The simplicity of the gospel is something I learned to sit in with not only myself but with new and old believers. Everyone is longing for a glimpse of something bigger than themselves, and not only to know but to KNOW Christ. Being able to break down stories and answer questions led to seeing God is such a beautiful way. We get to gaze at the beauty of His promise and bring people to see the cross. Which grace and mercy flow from! Seeing people give their life to the one who gave His, is an experience I can’t even put into words except for… PRAISE GOD!

Thank you to everyone who supported me in this whether that was through prayer or helping me fundraise! I’d ask that you keep on praying for the people of Africa and that they come to know and see Christ as their Heavenly Father! A special thank you to all the people I walked alongside with this trip. In ministry and just day to day, I love you guys so much!

YEAR 2/4!

this last year was special! gonna be hard to beat.

probably also the hardest year of my life, but one thing still remains true. JESUS is KING over my circumstances! JESUS IS KING OVER ALL!

Yall! Its this guys 20th Father’s Day, so I asked the kids to give me 20 things they love about @iamjoetucker or memories they have with him -

1. Listening to music in the car together
2. He listens to audio books with me every night before bed.
3. How he loves the people around him in a way that’s unique to them.
4. How he makes plenty of time for those he loves.
5. He’s always up for a laugh.
6. He takes plenty of time to understand how others are feeling.
7. No matter what he’s been through, he shows up with a smile and loves others well.
8. He’s pretty funny. How he makes the room brighter with his jokes.
9. He loves the Lord and his family more than anything.
10. He loves me and is good at making me feel special.
11. He’s fun to be around.
12. He’s Christlike.
13. He’s funny.
14. He cares for others so well.
15. He’s intentional.
16. He’s a good teacher.
17. He’s has coloring contests with me.
18. He lets me stay up late.
19. He lets me ride the tractor.
20. He takes us on fun trips.

As you can tell, his love, leadership, consistency, and servant heart are just a few of his character traits. Thank you for leading us closer to Jesus everyday — Happy Father’s Day, Joe. We truly are the luckiest to have you.

There’s such a beauty in knowing God and being around people that push you to be closer to Christ! I went on this trip to give but I ended up receiving so much!

After traveling to Johannesburg and reaching out to communities like Diepslot and Randspruit I’m left in awe of God. There is light in a place full of darkness and to witness the light spread these past couple weeks has been nothing short of amazing! There’s such a joy and love that comes from the story of Jesus! Peoples faces light up to His very name! I got the opportunity to witness the testimonies of so many faithful servants of Christ. The joy and smiles on these peoples faces is inspiring when their life is lived without a trace of comfortability and safety! They trust God with EVERYTHING when I come to the throne feeling entitled, demanding more, after I’m already blessed with so much. I’m so thankful for everyone who partnered in prayer and finances so that I could fulfill such a calling! Ministry is boundless and not limited to anyone! God is working and there is lost people all around you! The darkness needs light!
