This time last week, we were having a GREAT conversation about GRANTS and what it really means to be GRANT READY! 💰

One thing we made clear: Just because you’re ready for funding doesn’t mean your organization is ready to receive it.

In this short clip, we break down 3 things every ministry and nonprofit needs to have in place:

✅ Financial Accountability – Are your finances organized, documented, and ready for review?

✅ Staffing & Support – Do you have the people and systems in place to manage the funding and execute the work?

✅ Legal Documentation – Is your organization properly registered, and do you have the documentation to prove it?

Here’s the reality: Being grant ready is about more than needing money. It’s about being prepared to manage what you receive.

And if you’re not there yet, that’s okay! The goal is to identify what’s missing so you can begin putting the right things in place.

📋 So, how grant ready is your organization?

We’ve created a Grant Readiness Assessment to help you find out!

Visit www.thechurchcollection.com/funding to complete your assessment and take the next step toward preparing your ministry or organization for greater impact in 2027. #grantready

We’re excited about what’s ahead at The Church Collection, and we’re growing our team to help ministries, businesses, and organizations move with greater strategy. 💚

If grants are part of what you’re hoping to pursue in 2027, the work does not start in 2027. It starts now.

Before you apply, you need to know if your organization is actually ready, what funders are looking for, and what may need to be strengthened first.

That’s why we’re hosting Are You Grant Ready? on Thursday, October 8 at 8 PM. This is a FREE virtual information session, but registration is required.

We’re also excited to introduce Beatrice King, our Grants & Nonprofits Director. Beatrice brings years of experience working with faith-based, city, and government organizations. She’ll help lead our work around nonprofit readiness, structure, funding preparation, and helping organizations understand the right next steps before pursuing grants.

If you already know you’re ready to move forward, you can visit our website and begin with our assessment.

But if you’re still asking, “Are we actually ready for grants?” this session is where you need to start.

✅ Learn what funders are looking for
✅ Understand what grant readiness really means
✅ Identify what your organization needs to strengthen
✅ Start preparing now for greater opportunities in 2027

Sign up today at TheChurchCollection.com.

Don’t wait until the opportunity comes to start getting ready for it.

PURPOSEFUL TRANSITION 🦬

Purposeful transition encompasses ALL the feels—death, uncertainty, unfamiliarity, separation, and yes… loneliness.

There are moments when what was familiar no longer fits, what was comfortable no longer calls you, and what’s next hasn’t fully introduced itself yet.

That’s the tension of transition.

But if you stop at your feelings, you may never arrive at your future.

Sometimes you have to be like the Bison 🦬—possessing the intuitive forwardness to move toward the storm, not away from it.

Because there is beauty in the journey that fear will never let you see.

You can spend your life haunted by “what might have been” and burdened by the regret of never taking the leap…

OR YOU CAN GO ANYWAY.

Go uncertain.
Go unfamiliar.
Go lonely if necessary.
Go grieving what you had to leave behind.
Go with questions you cannot yet answer.
Go scared.

#BeVeryAfraid… but #GoAnyway. 🦬

Some transitions aren’t about losing your way.
They’re about changing the audience, changing the environment, and becoming who the next season requires.

MOVE DIFFERENTLY.

I’m still processing everything about last Saturday. 📦 Let’s Unpack It: Singles Edition was a vibe! 🙌🏾

To our amazing panelists: @a_dair, @calebfrost05, @iamjaitee, and @miabrinson_ …thank you doesn’t feel like enough. You showed up with your whole selves. You were honest, vulnerable, and so gracious. You all gave this audience something real to take home. I am so honored you said yes to this and I cannot wait for everyone to hear this conversation when the episode drops!!! 🎙️🔥

And let’s talk about @j.remyinspires for a second! 👏🏾 He walked in and set the place on fire before we even got started. He gave everybody exactly what they needed to loosen up, laugh, and show up fully for what was coming. The pre-show was a whole moment! I am so grateful for you Remy. You are incredible at what you do, and this night would not have been the same without you. Thank you!

And to everyone who came out Saturday night…Thank you for choosing to spend your Saturday evening with us. The engagement. The laughter. The honest moments. Y’all socialized and met new people. Y’all asked great thought-provoking questions. And my hope is you experienced transformation on some level. 🙏🏾

Thank you for trusting me and showing up. You made the night what it was. Last year we walked away with testimonies, and I believe this year was no different.

I have so many thoughts, and so many thank you’s…my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. 🤎

If you were there, drop some of your favorite moments in the comments! 👇🏾

Multi-dating. Just the word alone will start a debate in a room full of church folks! 😅 But the job application analogy? It makes so much sense. We don’t just submit one application and wait. We explore. We see what’s out there. And we let the process do what it’s supposed to do. ⏳

And then @iamjaitee hit us with chemistry vs. calling. 🔥Two very different things. Yet, many of us have been choosing based on one while ignoring the other.

What were you taught about multi-dating? Did you have a framework for it? And have you ever confused chemistry for something deeper? Drop your thoughts below. 👇🏾

📦 And if you want more of this kind of conversation, we’re unpacking it all on July 18th @ Dothan Tabernacle. Registration is FREE! 🔗 in bio.

📦 Let’s Unpack It: Singles Edition 📦

This panel is for every person who has been handed platitudes instead of practical wisdom. The questions living rent free in your head? We’re going there! Like what did Paul actually mean in the scriptures, and why do we keep using scripture to make singleness feel like a holding pattern? What does “waiting on God” actually look like in practice, and why is that advice reserved almost exclusively for love? How are we supposed to navigate dating when we were never taught how? Why are we expected to get it right, when we weren’t given a roadmap? 🤔

We’re going to talk about dating honestly. Multidating, attachment, social media, and how to simply enjoy the process. And we’re going to have an open conversation about the church’s role in all of it, including how purity culture did more harm than good, and what it looks like to support single people with truth instead of timeline pressure. Because none of us are promised a spouse. And it’s time that we started equipping singles for the full, purposeful life we’re already living…not just the life we MIGHT have someday. 🎙️✨

🚨 Registration is FREE!
