Some bottles are too good to drink alone.

This was one of them. A 21-year-old Jeroboam of Château Destieux, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, from our founder’s own collection. A bottle like this deserves the right company, so we gathered a small group of sommeliers and friends at Rare Restaurant & Bar and opened it together.

Beautifully balanced, aged to perfection, and served at exactly the right temperature thanks to @grad.dk.

No occasion, no agenda. Just a great wine shared with people who’d truly appreciate it.

Beyond honoured that my second book In Search of Silence which came out 4 years ago in book form, has finally been released as an audiobook thanks to @spotify @orangeskyaudio. It is a continuation from Chase The Rainbow, which was about my life with my late husband Rob, and losing him to suicide. In Search of Silence was written as a book of hope - in part for myself, to say hold on - it will get better - and for others trying to figure it out through grief and love. I couldn’t narrate Chase the Rainbow because it was too raw, but I wanted to narrate this one myself and felt able because enough time had passed.

I spent my hours in the recording booth finding myself in the mountain ridges of the Himalayas, at Rob’s graveside, at the join between earth and sky and water. It is a book I have loved, because it contains him and a version of myself I can look back at with compassion. Spotify also created an official playlist to go with the book - and it’s a mix of songs I listened to at the time, and songs Rob loved, in particular Dirty Three, @nickcaveofficial, Gil Scott Heron, Gladys Knight, and The Carpenters. I see him now, dancing with our dog on a Saturday morning, I recall the cadence of his laugh, the callouses on his hands. I have so much love for this man, who is now all ether, and I see him always in the night sky, and the day that unfolds into forests and the ocean. I hope you like it.
