What a night it was!

One week ago, nearly 600 of you came out Wild & Untamed for the 2026 Out for Good Gala, and we’re still smiling. The looks on the rainbow carpet, @manilaluzon and @trinitythetuck bringing the house down, a rainbow tiger coming to life on canvas, and a dance floor that didn’t quit until the after party wrapped. 🎶

Most of all, we’re still feeling the love from a community that came together and turned a celebration of queer joy into $568k+ for life-saving care. 💜

The photos are in! Swipe through some of our favorite moments, then visit our website for the full gallery. 📸

Thank you, Houston. Same time next year? 😉

They laughed, they engaged, and they co-created a learning environment where everyone was seen and heard!

MEET OUR MODERATOR: KEVIN D. ANDERSON

Some conversations require more than a microphone. They require someone who knows how to hold space, ask the right questions, and make room for people to be heard.

For Purple Thursday: Break the Silence, we’re proud to welcome Kevin D. Anderson (he/him) as moderator of our community conversation.

Kevin is a cultural strategist, documentarian, wellness advocate, and Founder/CEO of The T.R.U.T.H. Project, Inc., a healing justice nonprofit centering the mental, emotional, and sexual health of Queer Communities of Color through art, storytelling, and collective care.

With more than 20 years of public health and nonprofit leadership, Kevin has built a career creating culturally affirming spaces where wellness, creativity, and community intersect. He is also the creator of heART&SOUL, an award-winning documentarian, a 2024 Pride Houston Male Identifying Grand Marshal, and a 2026 Rothko Chapel Saint Óscar Romero Award Honoree.

On Thursday, October 22, Kevin will guide a community conversation centered on breaking the silence, listening without judgment, and creating space for voices and experiences that too often go unheard.

Doors open at 6:00 PM.
Community Conversation begins at 6:30 PM.
📍 PLAY Nightlife | 2409 Grant St., Houston

Come ready to listen. Come ready to talk. Come ready to break the silence.

The conversations we usually keep behind closed doors? We’re bringing them to the table.

Break the Silence is about having the conversations our community doesn’t always make room for — openly, honestly and without pretending the difficult parts don’t exist.

Join us at Play Nightlife for a live conversation with four panelists willing to go there, moderated by Kevin Anderson. @iamkevindapree

And this isn’t a conversation we want you to only listen to. Bring your questions. Bring your perspective. Be part of it.

📅 Thursday, October 22 | 6:00–8:00 PM
📍 Play Nightlife | 2409 Grant St., Ste. D, Houston
🎤 Moderated by Kevin Anderson

RSVP through the link in our bio.

What’s one conversation you think our community needs to stop avoiding?
