🎤 “USHER BABY!” took over R&B Karaoke Monday, and y’all brought the vocals AND the work! 🚴🏾‍♀️🔥

I’m so impressed by the consistency and growth of our riders. Every time you show up, you get stronger and more confident. Keep showing up and keep showing out!

Awesome job tonight, DFC family! 🧡 What Usher song should make the next playlist? 👇🏾

Still taking in everything I experienced at THRIVE 2026 with @blkmenintech

Sharing the stage with @mrbryanlcarter @uncle.damo and @brittanykingbk_ was an honor. Being surrounded by Black men AND women in tech who are building, growing, and genuinely rooting for each other meant so much.

I haven’t always had spaces like this, which made this experience even more special.

Huge thank you to @iamkhamward and the entire team for creating a space where so many of us feel seen and trusting me to be part of it.

I left full, grateful, and excited for what’s next.

WE DID IT! THRIVE 2026 is officially a wrap!

All the hard work, late nights, planning, prayers, and preparation manifested in excellent execution. Moving THRIVE from Fort Lauderdale to Dallas was a gamble, but we bet on the vision, stepped out on faith, and I believe we WON BIG! Dallas, you showed up and showed out!

I am beyond proud of my son, Kham Ward, the CEO and visionary behind BLK Men in Tech, and the entire team who poured their hearts into bringing this experience to life. Son, watching you lead, build, and create opportunities for others fills my heart in ways words cannot fully express.

This team is truly a FAMILY rooted in faith, united in purpose, and moving forward in impact. Every person who served, supported, and showed up helped make this moment possible.

My husband and I are proud parents of the son whose vision sparked this movement, and grateful to help nurture it as it grows. Watching that vision become a community where people connect, belong, and THRIVE is a blessing we will never take for granted.

Full hearts. Grateful spirits. More impact ahead. WE DID IT! Loading……..THRIVE 2027-Dallas, Texas!

THRIVE 2026 brought the energy today! Connection, inspiration, and community, the BMiT way and the parents of the movement enjoyed every minute of it!

A special highlight: hubby and I had the opportunity to meet our virtual pastor, Bryan Carter of Concord Church Dallas!

Bring on Day 3!

I’ve been way more selective about conferences I attend and speak at, but @blkmenintech THRIVE Conference is one I will never miss.

The authentic community @iamkhamward and team have built, and the intentional curation of content to elevate black men in Tech is more important than ever.

If you’ve never attended, I highly recommend you get a ticket before it sells out. Hope to see you in Dallas October 11-13.
