Our morning ride today was in support of the @846bmlchallenge launched by @iamoriance @blackmindsmatter.uk.
.
.
The aim of the challenge is to raise as much money as possible for @blackmindsmatter.uk, a charity providing mental health services and support in the black community.
.
.
One in four adults and one in ten children experience mental illness. However, there is a growing body of research to suggest that those exposed to racism may be more likely to experience mental health problems such as psychosis and depression. By supporting Black Minds Matter, we can help those in black communities access treatment and raise awareness to break down stereotypes.
.
.
WHAT TO DO
.
.
1️⃣ PARTICIPATE - Run/cycle 8.46km OR walk 8,460 steps
2️⃣ DONATE £8.46 (or whatever you can afford) to justgiving.com/846blmchallenge
3️⃣ NOMINATE 8 friends using the hashtag #846BLMCHALLENGE
4️⃣ Follow @846blmchallenge

BUILD YOUR COMMUNITY, CHANGE MAKER SERIES PT2 @lululemonuk 🥊

I am a coach who believes in the power of drawing energy and inspiration from others. 3 years ago I posed on my IG asking for training partners across many different sports. I got a DM from Oriance Lungu (@iamoriance) an Elite Boxer, Coach and Aspiring Olympian from East London. We met, trained and the rest is history. We have become great friends and I’m so proud to call her my coach.

I’ve helped strength train her on her quest to become an Olympic boxing champion, and she’s my boxing coach. Every week we push each other to the limit, both mentally and physically.

Sports can unify us all. Head to @lululemonuk to see our story in part two of my Change Maker Series with @lululemon @lululemonuk #Comminity #StrengthTraining #Boxing #LuluLemon #ChangeMaker
