POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some grad photos of my own kid graduating can be harder to get. This is my middle child Eli. And we’ll probably do more photos (which he will hate).

Eli is graduating from Raymond High school and still deciding what he’s doing in the fall. He’s headed to waterton to work for the summer. He is always keeping us on our toes and has the kindest gentle heart.

Eli and his girlfriend Martina just before they were headed to Prom. ❤️

“If putting in the time and money here makes all the rest of my life better — it’s worth it.”

Meet Rhonda — over a year ago, she came to me with chronic back pain that was holding her back from the life she wanted.

Today, she’s moving with confidence, strength, and freedom.
This is what happens when we stop avoiding pain and start understanding it.

💚 Rhonda is proving that living with chronic pain can be a choice.
Live more, Hurt less.

If you’ve felt stuck in a cycle of flare-ups and frustration, this story is for you.

🟢 You don’t have to live in pain.
🟢 You don’t have to do it alone.
🟢 You can build a strong, capable body — at any age, with any history.

In John 6:35, we read, “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Jesus is the Bread of Life and the Living Water. Bread and water are simple. Christ uses these symbols to teach us every week at the Sacrament. As the Bread of Life, Jesus provides the essential nourishment we all need.
What a gift!

Feeding and gathering are Christlike characteristics, exemplified by Jesus, who miraculously fed and gathered people. We, too, can gather and feed God’s children.

Our guest in this episode, Rhonda Steed, delights in being a disciple by nurturing and feeding those around her in both body and spirit. In Rhonda’s words, “I’m a wife, mom, baker, photographer, collector of recipes, chocolate lover, and small town girl… and I love gatherings.”

Rhonda Steed is married to Regan Steed and is a mother to 5 great kids: Alden, Lucy, Eli, Oliver, and Norah. They live in Raymond, Alberta, Canada. She loves collecting Jesus art, baking, cooking, and feeding people. She is also often found hanging out with her husband or reading a cheesy novel. Rhonda is a professional photographer and loves capturing the beauty of other humans. She enjoys serving in her ward and stake and is currently a temple worker and a primary teacher. Rhonda also teaches “mom seminary” in her stake, which is a class she helped create. We are excited for you to hear more about how Rhonda nourishes others in this episode!

This work isn’t for the faint of heart.

It’s for the 0.001%.

For the women who are done with being sidelined by pain, shame, or fear.

For those ready to reclaim what matters most.

This is about living fully.

Norah made her parents from our wedding day photo.

Notice even the flower on Regan’s lapel. Great little details!

(It was a big joke when we got married how dark Regan’s tan was and how white I was. It was funny to see she noticed and made me lighter in her creation too)

I had so much fun capturing @rhondasteedphotography family before her beautiful daughter left to serve a mission. I have to say it’s always nerve-wracking taking pictures for other photographers but Rhonda is a gem. Her family is so beautiful and welcoming and had me giggling the whole time.

Rhonda came to me no longer willing to compromise her independence.

She suffered a slipped disc that progressed to being unable to walk for a while. After a partial discectomy surgery and physio she was able to get back to ADL’s (Activities of daily living), but was still lacking the physical freedom and independence that she desired.

Rhonda is an avid baker and amazing cook. She usually relies on help with moving heavy loads of flour and groceries since her back surgery, but no one was around the other day to help her carry a heavy bag of flour up from the basement. She was able to pick up a 20KG bag of flour, from the floor, up the stairs, and into the kitchen. “It was really hard, and I don’t want to do it again right away, but I had no pain the next day. I couldn’t have done that a month ago”.

We’re just getting started and Rhonda has had a lot of little wins after just 12 sessions together.
