Today’s Sunday message.
I noticed this recently while at the Louvre. So many people are focused on the small Mona Lisa. (No shame on the Mona Lisa it’s great.)
But all these people are missing out on a great huge painting of the first miracle Jesus performed on the earth.
Too often we miss out on the divine because we’re focused on smaller things. The miracles, big and small, we miss out on because we fail to look.

I recently taught a class for a group of women talking all about trying to save money in the kitchen, and this is one of the tips I gave.

I’ll pretty much take anything food someone wants to share. My favourite texts are “hey I have too much of this so you want some?” It’s pretty much always a yes. I’ll do something with it!

And then I’m going to use every little part I can.

These to tomatoes are getting canned for future spaghetti sauce, soups, etc and the peels will get dehydrated and turned into a tomato power that you can sprinkle into the soups or anything tomato and it brings a strong flavour to it.

This is totally how my mom lived her entire life. So I’ll file it as a Dixie lesson. 👌

Big Mac pizza is a current favourite around here.

Pizza crust (obviously from @the_dough_guy cause he has the best recipe!)

Then tomatoes sauce
Cooked hamburger
Cheddar cheese.

Bake at 550°F for 8 minutes on a pizza steel.

Then topped with chopped lettuce, chopped sweet pickles (not dill) & Big Mac sauce drizzled on top.

This cake was filled with cute piping but it all came down to three tips and three styles.

A leaf tip used for the ruffles.
A shell tip used for the borders and a scallop.
And an open circle tip used for dots.
They’re all from @wiltoncakes and I have no idea what their numbers are. Hahahah.
