What a converging of three eras! @blakehoward the founding chapter host of @atlanta_cm from 2011-2021, me as chapter host 2021-2026 and the current chapter hosts @iamshate and Gabe Wardell. Gabe and Shaté asked Blake and I to return to stage today as speakers for this month’s theme CURRENT.

Leading the @atlanta_cm community is still one of my favorite things I’ve ever done. I learned and grew so much AND I was able to build community with so many amazing people along the way. If you’re looking for a place to be in community with other creative people follow @atlanta_cm and attend the FREE monthly events. You’ll be glad you did!

After completing CLTRE’s 12-week EveryDay Creative Accelerator, our founders took the stage to share their businesses, tell their stories, and pitch for seed funding to help move their ideas forward.

This night was bigger than a pitch competition. It was a celebration of creativity, entrepreneurship, community, and what is possible when founders have access to the knowledge, relationships, resources, and capital they need to grow.

Congratulations to every entrepreneur who stepped on the stage and shared their vision.

Thank you to our partners and sponsors for continuing to invest in Sacramento’s creative economy:

Happy Birthday @azurdede! Santa Barbara Denim & Vines Day Trip.

Took the train from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara to celebrate one of our very best friends. There’s something special about slowing down, enjoying views, laughing the entire ride, and making memories together.

Happy Birthday to a beautiful friend! Here’s to another year of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

I did it! As a creative business entrepreneur its always good to celebrate the small wins. I completed a 12 weeks business cohort program ran by @cltre_sacramento and @createstartups it was such a great experience to receive guidance and constructive feedback on my business model @crispin_supper I had learned so much about who I am as a business owner and what strengths are needed to fully become a sustainable concept. Yesterday I was able to pitch my idea to Sacramento. This is a HUGE milestone because that was my first time pitching my idea to a large audience. I feel good about starting the next chapter and to continue spreading my mission to minimize food waste. Thank you all who came out to support. ♻️🫶

Congrats to all the other cohorts founders. We did it!
