Join me for a special Waist Beads & Bubbly Pop-Up PlayDate with WildFiya as we explore the divine feminine through the cultural art of waist beads and body adornment. ✨

I’ll be sharing the history, meaning, and power behind waist beads, followed by a hands-on experience where you’ll create your own strand of handcrafted, high-quality wearable art. This beautiful practice is designed to help you connect with your mind, body, and spirit while embracing creativity and self-expression. 🖤

Whether you’re new to waist beads or already love wearing them, this experience is the perfect opportunity to learn, create, and celebrate yourself in community. 🖤

Just popping on your timeline to add a little light and to remind you not to put your joy on hold because you’re tired, busy, worried, or the world is on fire (bc when is it not). Don’t let them take what is yours. Let your joy and wellness be your fuel into a better world. Stand up. Fight back. Find joy. Spread love. Be well.

Recapping Thread the Culture's @threadtheculture first activation of 2026 in collaboration with WildFiya at Richmond Museum of History and Culture.

Our first Upcycling Mixer was a beautiful masterclass of the power of "Renewal" We spent the afternoon in a restorative, creative space, turning reclaimed fabrics into custom wearable art and building real community.

A very special thank you to Afiya of @iamwildfiya for bringing the heat and the heart to our dialogue sessions. Your curated prompts created a restorative, therapeutic sanctuary while we worked.

Huge thank you to the Richmond Museum of History and Culture @richmondcamuseum Museum for hosting us and for joining in on the fun. Utilizing our city’s historical cultural hubs adds so much depth to the movement that we are building in the Bay Area.

The 2026 season is officially in motion. We are already planning our next event—stay tuned for dates and details!

Still on a creative high from the Renewal Upcycling Workspace & Mixer!

There is something truly transformative about watching a community of women give themselves "permission to play." This project has been on my heart for the last six years, and after finally pushing past the doubt to make it a reality, I’m overwhelmed by the magic we created together.

Huge love to everyone who attended Thread the Culture's @threadtheculture first event of the year and to WildFiya @IAmWildFiya for being the perfect partners in this collaboration.

Thank you to the Richmond Museum of History and Culture @richmondcamuseum for graciously hosting us in such a meaningful, historical space.

Official Recap coming soon!
