POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is one of my favorite pickups from NYCC. @erod212 has been holding this for me for awhile. He was the person who introduced me to Jonathan Uribe’s art. Jonathan did several beautiful pieces for EROD. And I been lucky to get some of those covers including this one.

Godzilla in Hell 1
Cover by Jonathan Uribe

I been a fan of Godzilla since my childhood watching he’s movies on channel 11. I been trying to get a Godzilla cover for the longest time. Several years back I thought I got the OA of one of his G-Fan magazines, but it was only a poster in a frame. I was actually going for a Godzilla and TMNT cover, but with a little mishap, I ended up getting this beauty. And this past weekend I was able to get the comic to add to the art for @lone__wolf_comicz_llc
Thank you JC!

For a Godzilla fan….I LOVE IT!!! Can’t wait to see Godzilla minus Zero in IMAX soon!!

I picked up several pieces on Friday NYCC. This is one of three I picked up from Chris Campana @chris_campana_art
I already posted the Ghost Rider.

All three need their separate post because all three are 🔥🔥🔥 covers

This cover:
Amazing Venom 3
Cover by Chris Campana

One of two Venom covers I picked up from Chris. I haven’t been lucky getting a Venom cover in awhile, and finally snagged two from this show. Just a beauty of a Venom!!! Chris’s pencil work is amazing!!

And I like to thank Chris for helping me out for Friday and Saturday at NYCC! He is awesome!
THANKS AGAIN!!

Spent Friday thru Sunday at NYCC, and it was exhausting. I was relaxing on Sunday at the show to post up one piece of art. I didn’t have time to post the rest cause when I got home, it went right to sleep. So have some time today. 😊

On Saturday before the show, I had breakfast with Carla Cohen and Lucio Parrillo. I been very lucky to spend time with them outside the show for the last 3 years. Every time I meet them, I consider that my special birthday breakfast. 😂😂.

I wanted to get a commission from each. Lucio will be working on it soon and really cannot wait to see what he does. I wanted a Zatanna commission from Carla, and she mentioned she had already sold the Zatanna issue 3 painting but still had her preliminary drawing. I had seen that Zatanna book when it came out and just bought it cause it was a beautiful looking cover. So to get the original drawing to it, how can one say “no”?!?? I picked up the Zatanna at our breakfast. I also was gifted two NYCC metal cover exclusives and a Parrillo Batman sketch!!! It was unexpected, but I was giddy like a little kid with such awesome gifts! It was an awesome way to start out my Saturday at NYCC!!

Lucio and Carla….I THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!! And I hope to see both of you soon!

I am here at NYCC with David Mack. About a year ago he did a Vampirella commission for me. I wanted to do a 3 parter with Kabuki and Lady Death. He finished his Kabuki for NYCC and got it today. LOVE IT!!!!! Such a beautiful piece.
Cannot wait for the Lady Death commission to compliment both Kabuki and Vampy!!

Another one from Heroescon.

Wolverine 22 1:20 Variant
Cover by Chris Campana

Awesome pencils by Chris. My first Wolvie cover, with some Taskmaster thrown in. I know the MCU really phucked up Taskmaster, but such a cool looking villian. This is my third art piece from him. Hope to get more in the future! Great add to my PC! Now to hunt for the book. 😊

Picked this up at Heroescon. Basically spent most of the time running around getting commissions. On the third day, used my free time looking at artwork from artists who were there. This is where I came across Skoots table @skootsart

He had a really nice Red Sonja commission comic on his table that caught my attention. Went thru his art binders and loved this Lady Death. He had not finished it, and asked if he could because I was interested in buying it. Ended up getting this, they are Sonja and had him do a Venom commission in my mixed commission book. Can’t wait to give him my Vampy or Lady Death book for a commission. Thanks Skoot!

These are my 4 of my 5 current commission art books. I get them mixed up constantly. I was in debate of someone sketching on the covers, but they keep getting switched hands, and wouldn’t want to ruin the art on the book cover.
Matty Freeze @mattyfreeze187 is a very talented artist who sells his art on Tuesdays at @astonishing.comics auction on YT.
Sadly I haven’t had a chance to win a Matty piece, but he made these stickers from his art, and they coincide perfectly with my art books. My new fifth book, which is Venom, is currently being used for a commission. I will add Matty’s Venom sticker to it when I get it back!

Matty has 100s (well. Maybe 70 😂) types of stickers from his art. Hit up Matty and check them out! And check out his art on Tuesday nights at Astonishing Auctions. And Paul @kelai200 is not on the Tuesday auctions. So it’s a great Tuesday night!

1/1 ONLY GRADED COPY💀I just had to get the HTF retired issue 1 cover on the census, it deserves it!

This series from @teamangelslayer and @jh_blackk has been a wild ride over a few years now. Jenglot’s work is unbelievable. A real modern horror master, and he is in direct lineage with all of the COPPER AGE HORROR indies we love so much.

5 issues in, and issue 6 is in the works. There are some killer variant covers throughout the series as well. Just all around pure underground horror goodness!
