Give me good company, a feast warmed by the fire, and a mountain filled with golden larches 💛 and some surface hoar 😆

Day 1: Part 2 🏃‍♂️

Spoiler alert: HE DID IT! So proud 🥹 he ran a total of 14 hours for the Raven 50 miler and was a trooper as we headed to Kluane National Park for a week for “relax” days aka 15km+ hikes haha 🏕️🏔️

Stay tuned for DAY 2 for some hiking adventures! Follow for more days visiting the Yukon @wilderness_kay 🏔️🫶

Day 1: pt1 Whitehorse (Guide ⬇️)

I decided to tag along with @ianmiller_7 for his first @ravenultra50miler (80km) race in Whitehorse and at the same time I ventured around the town.

If you only have 24-hours to explore Whitehorse here’s what I would do:

Stay: @sternwheelerhotel
Breakfast/Lunch: @bulletholebagels and @burnt_toastcafeyukon
Dinner: @klondikerib and Big Bear Eatery & Taphouse

Visit:
🛍️Shopping along Main St.
🚶🏻‍♀️Short walk to the Yukon River down Millennium Trail
🪶Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre
💛MacBride Museum of Yukon History
🚢S.S Klondike National Historic Site
🌊Miles Canyon

✈️ Over the next couple of days we camped in Kluane National Park, which booking a flight with @flyairnorth was perfect as 2 check-in bags (mostly packed a lot of outdoor gear 🏕️) are included per person!

Stay tuned for PART 2 🏃‍♂️
⏰ Anyone want to guess what TIME Ian finished his race?

Sometimes dreams really do come true! 💫

Feeling really grateful to be surrounded by all these beautiful fairy souls who came to celebrate from both near and far ( and the ones who couldn’t make it in person but celebrated with us in spirit thanks for all the birthday love) ! 🥰💓

With every passing year time seems to move more quickly, it’s moments like this full of love and laughter that make time almost stand still. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such supportive, loving, and genuinely kind hearted people 🥰.

Thanks for planning such a beautiful and adventurous and our most “aesthetic”birthday yet 💁🏻‍♀️ @wilderness_kay 💓🫶
