A little over a week ago, we gathered in New York City for the Iranian American Women Leadership Conference 2025 @ny_iawfoundation @iawfoundation. The entire day centered around one powerful mission: women’s health. Every speaker brought expertise, compassion, and urgency to this critical conversation. It felt empowering to listen, to learn, and to feel seen among so many remarkable women. As a co-host, I felt honored to be a part of this organization. Immense appreciation to @drshievag @drhirmand @drsadaty @drporoshatshekarloo @saharesfa @zahrabackhome @sanaztss @kimyazzz @saraseyed

Our founder, Mariam Khosravani, shared a message that truly resonated: do not be just a go-getter, be a go-giver as well. Leadership starts with generosity. Inspire, empower, connect!

The day even included some fun and laughter thanks to the brilliant comedy of @neginfarsad along with uplifting live music from @connect.ifca creating the perfect balance of inspiration and joy.

I cherished reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting incredible new women who are leading with purpose. Deep gratitude to Mariam and to our wonderful co-chairs @royakhadjavi @sanam_akhlagh @studio360s @bahartavak @hediehyazdi for bringing us together for such a meaningful event. Your tireless hours of planning and dedication is NOT lost on us! Many thanks to all the volunteers and the planning committee.

Thank you to all the amazing ladies who chose to spend their Sunday with us. Sisterhood and community like this is everything. 🩷

A letter From Googoosh:

✨ Let Her Sing 🎤
September 14, 2025
Zipper Hall, Los Angeles

I’m still pinching myself! What a night💫
Performing in my hometown for more than 400 people, some familiar faces, many new friends, was pure joy. I’m in awe of all the love I received and deeply honored to be part of this incredible celebration of female voices and musical talent.

The applause, the energy, the support—it all touched me so deeply. Thanks to everyone who came, cheered, and lifted me up. ❤️

Singing now has a whole new taste, one I want to savor again and again. I can already feel a beautiful new path opening ahead. This is just the beginning… 🎶

I had the honor of attending Let Her Sing 2025 in Los Angeles, hosted by Diaspora Arts and Iranian American Women Foundation. I was grateful to see the work of my dear friend, Nazy Kaviani, the founder, and to see my friend Mariam Khosravani, the inspiring founder of the Iranian American Women Foundation. These are two of the most amazing, extraordinary women I know—leaders who can truly move mountains.
Each year, Nazy dedicates nearly a year to carefully curating 8–9 extraordinary female artists from across the globe. The result is unlike anything else you have experienced—just as the first time you ski down a mountain or leap into the sky to skydive, you suddenly realize you’ve entered an entirely new world. Let Her Sing is exactly that kind of transformative, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
