Album Cover & Press Photography for @kaicult666 "SHEER CONTROL" 💿🌟

Had an incredible time collaborating with Kai to construct the visual identity for his debut album, Sheer Control. Shot across four distinct 35mm and 120mm formats, the creative direction leans heavily into early Y2K aesthetics and 'Indie-Sleaze' subculture. Our goal was to pay homage to this defining era of alternative music while expanding it into a world of our own.

Styled, shot & designed by yours truly.

Meet @milkyplugg — the wonderfully eccentric world of Danny, who calls themselves “the shy attention-seeking designer” behind a collection of surreal, fashion-fantasy masks.

When asked whether they’re a designer or a maker, Milky simply says, “I’m more of a maker. I’m a gestalt processor — I work by process of elimination, backwards, once I know the theme I want to achieve.” 🎭

The name Milky Plug Kid began as an inside joke between friends after a cheeky dating app exchange — and somehow, it stuck. “It was unintentional,” Danny admits. “I was just experimenting and posting things online to see what would happen, and it started to gain traction.”

Now, Milky’s distinctive creations will feature in the upcoming QUEER BY DESIGN runway show, in collaboration with @queerconnectnaarm , on Thursday 19 February 2026! 💖

🎟️ Tickets are on sale now!
Join Melbourne’s largest all-queer runway for a night of spectacular fashion, drag, live entertainment, and art — complete with front-row seating, complimentary drinks and nibbles, and two mini runway shows!
