Life moves fast. Sometimes we need a little space to slow down.

To breathe. To connect. To just be.

A little moment of calm in the heart of London, shared with some good people at @blueearthsummit 💙

What happens when we give ourselves permission to be fully present?

A weekend to remember. ❤️

A chance to step away from the noise of everyday life. To slow down, reconnect with nature, with ourselves and with each other.

Cold water, warm fires, movement, breath, shared meals, laughter and conversations that have stayed with us long after the last hug of the weekend.

But perhaps the most powerful part was simply having the space to be ourselves, alongside other men.

One of the guys summed it up beautifully:

“Seen. Heard. Loved.”

Another described it as “one of the most profound and beautiful weekends of my life.”

To everyone who joined us at IceBreakers Autumn Camp, thank you for showing up, opening up and making the weekend what it was.

Until next time. ❤️

We gathered with the leaders of the seven other chapters of IceBreakers for 24 hours of living the charity’s purpose: time in community, nature, cold water, and movement. Believing that doing so keeps us well and hopeful.

It was bonding, energising and educational to learn from our friends across the country. What’s working well? Where could we evolve? What are we struggling with? Why are we doing this?

That last question answered itself in the feeling we all left with: in challenging times, we need these rituals of belonging to ground, support and encourage us.

All men are welcome. DM us for details.

We had the honour of leading two amazing men, @jordanfstephens and @arrdeegram in a cold water dip last March.

It formed part of the MTV UK series 'In Search of Peace'.

Both men were amazing, in what were incredibly cold and challenging conditions. Full of positive vibes and courage.

To see if Arrdee & Jordan dipped and the impact he felt give the episode a watch, click the link available in our bio.

Both lads, and ALL men / mxn welcome to join us anytime.

We dip every Sunday, 8am, Hove Beach.

See you in the 🌊

Registration open for IceBreakers sessions! 💦

Join IceBreakers at one of 3 guided cold-water experiences next weekend in the beautiful freshwater pond at FORM.

We’ll start together on land with some simple movement and breathwork to warm the body and settle the mind, before heading into the water for a supported cold-water dip. We’ll then warm up together and finish with a moment to reconnect.

You don’t need to be an experienced cold-water dipper - just bring something to swim in, a towel, warm layers for afterwards and an open mind. ❤️

Free Places are very limited - access via tickets on formfestival.co.uk and only available to weekend event goers, so come join us! 🥳

Autumn Camp is getting close. 🍂

2nd-4th October, we’re heading back to Campwell Farm for a weekend away from the everyday.

Cold water, movement, fires, great food, time outside and proper connection with other men.

Come on your own or come with a mate. You don’t need any experience and you don’t need to know anyone before you arrive.

Places are still available, but Camp is getting close - now’s the time to book.

It’s a chance to step away from the everyday for a couple of days, spend time with other men and come home feeling a little clearer, steadier and more connected.

2nd - 4th October 2026
Campwell Farm, Wiltshire

Places are still available.

Oxford, we’re looking for a few good men.

This autumn we’re launching IceBreakers Oxford, and we’re looking for 2–3 volunteer leaders to join the existing team and help build something special.

You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to care about people, enjoy being outdoors and be willing to help create a welcoming space where men can connect through nature, movement, conversation and cold water.

If you’ve ever wanted to give something back to your community, this could be one of the most rewarding things you’ll do.

If you’re interested, or know someone who might be, send us a DM or email hello@icebreakers.uk

Please share this with anyone in or around Oxford who might be a great fit.

A few weeks after Liam's first visit, Chris joined him for another early Sunday morning at Warleigh Weir.

It was another glorious morning. We stood at the top of Ferry Lane waiting for the group to arrive. One by one they appeared. Handshakes, hugs and introductions. Familiar faces greeted newcomers with the same warmth and openness that makes IceBreakers feel so welcoming.

This week's session was hosted by Kieron, who greeted us with a litter picker in hand. Looking after the river is as much a part of the morning as getting into it.
As we made our way down to the weir, I found myself hanging back to simply observe. The group naturally split into pairs, conversations flowing effortlessly as they walked. There was an unmistakable sense of calm. A routine so ingrained that it seemed to create space for everyone to arrive exactly as they were.

For me, it was a chance to revisit an experience that had already left a lasting impression. For Chris, it was all unfolding for the first time. Around fifteen men joined us that morning, each with their own story. Some were regulars, while others came when they felt they needed it most.

Soon everyone gathered in a huddle for a few minutes of conversation before moving into the familiar 'Warm In' exercises and, finally, into the water. This time, at a very respectable 20°C, it felt less like cold water immersion and more like a lukewarm bath.

The sun shone, conversations continued and laughter echoed across the weir.

Alongside the light-hearted moments came thoughtful discussions too, including an in-depth conversation about ADHD and the value of sharing lived experiences. It was a reminder that these mornings offer so much more than a swim.

Once again, we left feeling nourished, connected and with our cups full.

Thank you to everyone at @icebreakers.hq and @icebreakers.bath for welcoming us back and for showing, once again, the power of community, nature and meaningful connection.

They climbed a mountain.

Actually…they climbed it four times. 🏔️💙

But this challenge was never really about the mountain.

It was about brotherhood.
Showing up.
Digging deep.
Supporting the bloke next to you when his legs had gone.

Together these legends have now raised close to £3,000 for IceBreakers, helping us create more free spaces where men can reconnect through nature, challenge and honest conversation.

Still time to donate - link in bio.

Every donation.
Every step.
Every blister.
Every word of encouragement.

It all matters.

To the team… we couldn’t be prouder.

To everyone who donated and supported… thank you. You’re part of this too.

Meeting the tough stuff, together. 💙

Who’s struggling at the moment ?

I am for sure.

Do you know a young man who might be ?

We are working on a new project supporting young men in the Bristol and Bath region with time one the land, honest conversation, creative practice and being in community.

We are beginning with some evening gatherings on the land in July to create space for honest conversations and listening- including a cash incentive and food - all the info on how to register via the link in bio.

Have a think if there’s a young man ( 18-25 yrs) in your orbit who might appreciate this invitation - in your family, street, community and consider sharing this with them

Your help is much appreciated

✨We’re incredibly grateful @salt_of_the_earth_comm_fdn for supporting IceBreakers with funding that will help us grow our community across the South West.

This funding will enable us to recruit, train and equip new volunteer leaders, giving them the skills, confidence and support to launch new IceBreakers chapters in Frome and Oxford. It will also help us strengthen the foundations needed to support those communities as they grow.

If you’re based in Frome or Oxford, or know someone who’d make a great IceBreakers leader, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us a DM and let’s have a chat.

And if you’re hoping to join a chapter in either town, watch this space… we’ll be sharing launch dates as soon as we’re ready.

A huge thank you to the Salt of the Earth Community Foundation for believing in our mission and helping us create more spaces where men can connect, support one another and experience the benefits of nature, challenge and community.

We couldn’t do this without partners like you. 🙏💙
