I am honored to be endorsed by the Idaho Education Association.

According to their voter guide (available at idahoea.org), I, Debbie Critchfield, am the best pro-public education candidate running for Idaho Superintendent of Public Instruction this November.

The IEA's official Political Action Committee for Education (PACE) endorsement is only given to those candidates who complete a formal review process led by educators across Idaho.

My first term, past positions, advocacy experience, and overall engagement were carefully scrutinized and my commitment has been verified.

I will continue to:

✅️ Strengthen public schools
✅️ Empower Idaho teachers
✅️ Put kids first

📣 PSA for Public Schools

This is GLSEN (glsen.org)
Their “Safe Space for All” stickers complete with their website are displayed throughout Boise School District buildings and treated as part of the official school culture.

GLSEN’s materials target students as young as preschool with gender and sexuality ideology. This has no place in public schools.

If you believe children deserve protection from adult ideological agendas, now is the time to speak up.

Contact Boise School District leadership. Demand these stickers and any associated materials be removed from every school.

Silence protects no one. Our kids are worth defending against indoctrination 🌟

Idaho Education Association, a teachers’ union whose job is to support the teaching of facts and truth, lists seven sex options on its membership intake form:
* Female
* Male
* Other
* Transgender Female
* Transgender Male
* Gender Expansive
* Non-Conforming

Yes. A teachers’ union.

As a dues-paying IEA member, I asked why. The answer? “Our members requested it.”

Let’s be clear: outside of activist circles and @boise_education_association, Idaho is not asking for this.

This is coming straight from the National Education Association, which continues to push LGBTQ+ and social-justice ideology into every state affiliate. The NEA wants the IEA to conform. When I raised this with the previous IEA president, I was told seven sexes is “not a problem.” The current president won’t even respond to a dues paying member.

Gender ideology has no place in public education.

Parents and teachers across Idaho do not want adult sexual identities treated as settled fact in our schools. If the union continues down this path, it risks losing trust and memberships.

@neatoday stop groOming children and pushing gender ideology. Children believe what grown-ups tell them. Sexuality and fetishes have no place in public education.

Straight from the nea-lgbtqc.org website:

“By wearing your badge, you tell everyone that you are a safe person with whom to discuss LGBTQ+ issues.

Affirming LGBTQ+ youth couldn’t be easier than by identifying yourself as a safe and supportive person.

Use the QR code on the back of the badge to access the I'm HERE Toolkit with links to a variety of LGBTQ+ issues, organizations, and resources.”

I am proudly endorsed by PACE and the Idaho Education Association. As a former public school teacher, I know the strengths and difficulties our schools deal with. In Boise, I will be a voice for our students, educators, and administrators.

The biggest losers? The kids.

Too much focus on ideology and agendas. Not enough on giving students the best education possible.

Put kids first. 📚

What does Idaho’s Superintendent of Public Instruction actually do?

That question matters because not every decision about schools, funding, or education policy belongs to the superintendent alone.

In my conversation with Superintendent Debbie Critchfield, we talked about what falls within the authority of the office, what still depends on the Legislature or local school boards, and how those different parts of Idaho’s education system work together.

This Sunday, I’ll be releasing our full conversation, where we go deeper on school funding, special education, career readiness, accountability, school choice, and what she believes her first term has accomplished.

🎥 Full conversation releases Sunday at 10 AM.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month.
Prevention doesn’t start with an assembly. It starts with how we treat each other in the hallway, the staff room, and the parking lot. Culture starts with us.
Kindness is contagious.

This Sunday, I’m releasing my full conversation with Idaho Superintendent of Public Instruction Debbie Critchfield on YouTube.

We sat down following the recent superintendent debate to go deeper on several of the issues raised there- including school funding, special education, career readiness, accountability, the role of the superintendent, and what she believes her first term has accomplished.

In this preview, Superintendent Critchfield revisits a question from the debate about taxpayer dollars and private schools explaining why she believes her answer isn’t as simple as “yes” or “no.”

So what parts of a school-choice proposal could she support, and what would give her pause?

Tune in to the full conversation Sunday at 10 AM to hear her answer in context.
