Has Mina found her flow state? Because she’s looking more at home in the air than on the ground. 😂

What tips do you have for flip twists? I’ve been trying to teach myself flip twists and they were absolutely trash. So when @chillinwithrayk asked me what I was working on he took me in and coached me through it.

This is where I am after doing two coaching sessions with him. Feeling confident enough to throw them without him in the door, and I think It really showcases how important it is to have a coach that can break down the parts of a whole pie, and having someone I can trust to spot me as I learn, pointing out the nuances of a maneuver that can transfer into doubles.

Over the years I’ve watched, asked questions, and tried doing it myself, but still ended up sloppy and nearly wrecking my head against the glass. Now I’m finally understanding what it means to slice through the wind as a single blade vs being a kite in the wind and balancing on the wind so it to take me where I want to go. And now, I’m developing balance points in a different way that will definitely transfer into flying freely.

Despite my athletic abilities, bracing my body and keeping my arms and legs in tight is a challenging exercise. But I think knowing not to get frustrated, and that to do something well takes 10,000 reps, so I was able to keep the fun in a learning environment.

Heres to seeing how I implement these in my flow 🤪 🌪️ 🪂

An entrance fit for the girls! 🪩✨ We created this silver shimmer entrance for iFly and the Supergirl Festival’s welcome party to welcome all the female athletes for the weekend. Of course, we had to make it something special! Balloons, shimmer, and a surfboard brought that sparkly, feminine, and fun feel. 🏄‍♀️💖

Ever wondered what it’s like to defy gravity?

Getting the opportunity to go to the @supergirlpro event was incredible!! I got to meet SO many amazing women in sports, wellness, and even STEM!! I caught up with the amazing team at @iflyvabeach Virginia Beach to talk about the power of hands-on STEM learning. Being at this event is one of my favorite parts of my outreach. Getting to be out in the field, boots on the ground with inspiring women-owned businesses and organizations empowering the next generation as well as the girl’s themselves!

While iFly shows the physics of flight in their wind tunnels, at @spacetrekgirls, the girls satisfy their curiosity in a decked out pink lab where they learn to build and solder their own circuit boards, launch a satellite like device, capture real-time data, and present their findings. Many of the SpaceTrek Alumni set their sights on space systems engineering and careers in aerospace. I’m so thrilled and grateful to be apart of a program that continues to expand beyond Kentucky after amazing programs at West Virginia Wesleyan College this past summer! And for me, THIS is everything I’ve been working so hard for🥹 I was buzzing for days after this event and I can’t wait to do more! Stay tuned because I’m going somewhere else cool this weekend!! A huge thank you to @iflyvabeach for all the incredible work you all do! #SpaceTrek #womeninstem #STEM #aerospace #womeninspiringwomen

wow 1 year working at the tunnel!! time flies!

it’s really easy for me to be ultra critical of my flying and break down the thousand ways I could do everything better, so it makes it hard to post here and share it with the world. it seems that every time I get a little better, the awareness grows and the bar gets higher, so in my head I stay at the same level.

BUT progress is beautiful! and every step of the process deserves to be celebrated. it’s every tiny little part of our lives that makes us who we are. and truth is if you told me I’d be doing this 6 months ago I would’ve been super stoked 💖

I am still not satisfied (don’t think I will ever be lol) but I love flying, and I love continuing to learn how to fly! Growing and evolving every second I spend feeling the wind, even if I can’t tell in the moment☁️ the tunnel isn’t skydiving but it is beautiful in its own way💕

so yeah time flies but so do I 😎
