My second stops were Chicago and Toronto. I returned after exactly 10 years to the cities were the @28jun movement was born. My old hood of Bathurst x Lake Shore changed a lot but it was great to see friends and family 🚞

Behind the scenes of the new YKYD coming this week! 🇷🇸

Some of you are asking (demanding) for these to be done more often.. well truth is they take a TON of time and energy to put together. Lemme break it down for you:

✔ casting an actor from this specific country
✔ casting secondary actors from the same country
✔research the hell out of the topic: forums, friends, internet searches, sometimes books and movies etc
✔ write script
✔ send script over to friends from that culture so they can say what is on point/what feels off
✔ scout location/s
✔props
✔finally FILMING! YAY
✔ 7-8 hours of filming (this one took 11 so no more yay)
✔ editing fun

So.. in the end you can see why this cannot be a weekly thing. And lots of quality gets lost if we make these too often. Try making 5 countries at the same time and not one will be researched well. So there you have it guys! Buut.. what other countries are you dying to see?

What have you learned about yourself during the coronavirus pandemic?
During a time of lockdowns, masks, quarantines and social distancing.

The pandemic year has been marked by so much tragedy, but I am super optimistic after speaking with so many people about the future.

What have you learned about yourself and what have you started to do that you’ve never done before?

⁣Much love MP have a fantastic weekend.

WOW. What an incredible day to be a part of yesterday.
.
June 27th was really a miracle 💙
.
Windsor-Essex and all organizers of the June 27th Miracle should be extremely proud of themselves. The amount of support and love that came together in just one day is incredible.
.
Congratulations on an incredibly successful day to all involved 💙🤗
