Ostuni, the white city. Final leg of our incredible Puglian adventure with some day tripping to Monopoli & Polignano a Mare, more swims in the Adriatic Sea and plenty of fantastic food, vino & gelato. A couple of truly standout meals at @il_cortiletto & @ilbrigantetrattoria and quality olive oil tasting with Pietro at @oleificio_petruzzi #puglia #italia 🇮🇹❤️

PUGLIA - 🌊 BEACHES AND LOUNGE DAYS

While we loved seeing the ancient towns of Puglia, some of our most enjoyable and memorable moments were the ones we spent lounging and spending quality time with friends and family. We even opted to miss out on some towns to have more downtime and recharged together! To wrap up the Puglia posts, here are some of our favourite moments and spots (caption on each slide for locations 💙)

On the way home from Polignano a Mare we found an amazing hidden beach near Monopoli that felt like only the locals knew about! It had a beach bar/restaurant, inexpensive beach chairs for rent and a castle you could swim around! Amazing stop for the family to cool down! Not sure exactly what its called but this is the name of the castle if you’re looking on google maps!

📍 Il Castello di Santo Stefano

In a town with nearly nothing else (Fasano) we had a 3.5 hour meal in a gorgeous setting with some of the most incredible Italian food any of us have had. Unsuspecting from the outside, but STUNNING inside!!! So glad we made the trip here as it came highly recommended! And afterwards we went to the gelato place nextdoor where the lady spoke not one word of English. A true Italian experience!!

📍 Il Cortiletto, Fasano

Inside Il Cortiletto. Book in advance it got PACKED!

Mama and I on a drive just to see the ancient Olive trees. The ones this big are thousands of years old and no doubt carry all the worlds secrets!!! 😍😍

Lounging and playing games with the kids were some of our best times. I feel so beyond blessed that my boys ate absolutely surrounded with grandparents, aunts and uncles, and friends that are family. This pic sums up what every golden hour looked like for us 🥹🥹🥹

And of course the girls golden hour family bonding time 💙 🥂

Absolute highlight of Puglia for us was spending a day at the beach club. This one was pricey to rent the beds, and even pricier after a day of eating and drinking, but HIGHLY RECOMMEND for spending a day just ENJOYING in the middle of all the sightseeing days!!! We played games, we swam, we ate, we drank, we napped, we had life chats, we read books. It was absolute perfect
