A day in the life! Gisteren schrijf/opnamedag gehad. So much fun!

A while back our debut album Hypofrontality was featured in a list of top releases of March '25 on TheProgSpace alongside bands like Deafheaven and Alien Weaponry, thanks guys! @theprogspace
Reviewer Dario writes: "The clean vocal delivery by Ilah van der Haas and Sjoerd’s excellent lead guitar work shining through here and there made me stay. “Hypofrontality” is a solid debut in the Progressive Metalcore realm with lots of potential. With more of that crazy instrumental stuff like ‘Macrophage’ and more of those gorgeous clean vocal melodies, Photon Flux could go places!"

We're so proud to be featured in one of the biggest and oldest Dutch metal magazines @aardschok 🤩 Kind of a bucketlist moment to be honest. Reviewer Jordan writes that the combination of Twan's raw vocals and Ilah's beautiful singing fit perfectly in our "Textures on steroids" and praises the production and mix of styles. Holy shit, thanks Aardschok! 🤟

Two weeks ago, we kicked off our release tour, and it’s been nothing but amazing! It’s rare to meet other bands you truly connect with, and we had an absolute blast with the entire @punkrockfactory crew, great band, even better dudes, amazing humor, and endless laughs. My stomach still hurts from all the laughs!
Also a huge shoutout to @mayleafband we go way back, and having them at our release party felt like the greatest reunion ever. These awesome vibes is what being in a band is all about! Tomorrow we hit the @devorstin in Hilversum, and I can’t wait to see you all there! Let’s keep these vibes rollin!!! ❤️‍🔥
