Rhinebeck 2026 - about the last 10 days… adventuring through PA, NJ and NY . It was all about the community, friends, sheep, wool, family and definitely my new passion… fountain pens,ink and stationary.

As an introvert, Rhinebeck can be overwhelming, but it is also a place where I feel completely comfortable geeking out over yarn, fiber, and everyone's handmades. I truly feel like I am among my people—others who share a deep love for making. I enjoy meeting Instagram friends, catching up with customers, and seeing long-time friends who I only get to see a few times a year.

My fiber journey is a bit different from most. I learned to knit at school when I was six years old, even though no one in my family knitted. I never put it down, teaching myself how to figure out patterns and stitches over the years. Knitting is truly woven into my soul and has carried me through so many stages of my life.

These last five years have been full of immense change, and knitting has been the constant that grounds me. The craft and the knitting community have given me so many gifts, and attending Rhinebeck every year only makes me more grateful for it all.

My CAKEpalooza 2026 in a minute! Fun was had, friends were hugged, birthdays were celebrated & Lambies were layered! The forecast scared me ☔️ as I am an indoor 🐈, but we all powered through a wet & wild set up and break down in the lot 😅 @alissacake @cakewoolco and team were the best hosts as always 💖 Magically our ticket hours remained dry! Thank ewe old friends and new for stopping by, it means a lot on this very busy and exciting weekend to spend some time and I so appreciate it. Thank you for sending me pix- I’m so bad at remembering my selfies! Another wonderful year at Sheep & Wool! The weather was perfectly crisp, with sunshine galore. My Rhinebeck Sweater this year was the Bright Here Bright Now Cardi in a beautiful autumnal palette. I went stash diving and decided on this beautiful five-color combo of Big Birdie. I’m thrilled with how it turned out and know I’ll wear it lots now that sweater weather is officially here (well, at least in the morning. By afternoon, it’s a different story 😂). As mentioned, the air was crisp, so I added my Daily Essential for extra warmth.

We had the best time, and I was so excited to see those of you I managed to catch up with! This year, it was CROWDED. More crowded than I can ever personally remember. Unfortunately, I missed seeing some of you as we made our way through the sea of people.

What a wonderful weekend! And, of course, I’m already looking forward to next year! 🩷

Surround yourself with your people and you can’t fail! I’m overflowing with gratitude for my dear friend @triolojm for her never-ending support to make this magical weekend happen. This weekend begins and ends with her and then is filled with lovely old and new friends and fiber artists in between. The day began and ended with pouring rain but the weather cleared and you all came to offer so much support. A huge thank you to Lisa and all the @indieuntangled staff and volunteers. Wow! Meet Sweets by Lizzie 🍰💙🇮🇱

Lizzie is a fabulous sweets creator, a proud supporter of Israel—and now the proud owner of one of my Od Nirkod sweatshirts.

She recently shared it with her followers, knowing full well that being openly pro-Israel can come with a price. And unfortunately, it did: lost followers and some pretty ugly comments.

So I’d like to turn that around.

Pro-Israel community, meet Lizzie. Lizzie, meet your community. 💙

If you love incredible sweets served with a side of courage, go show her some love. Follow her. Support her. And remind her that for every person who walks away because she stands proudly with Israel, there’s a whole community ready to stand with her.

Four years of Embroidery Babes, and somehow the best part still isn’t the embroidery. 💕

Night 1 of our 4th Anniversary Stitch & Mingle on 8/4 at AnyaFoto in Paramus, NJ was everything I hoped it would be: women creating, laughing, meeting new people, supporting local businesses and leaving with something they made themselves.

We stitched, we mingled, we celebrated, and thanks to our incredible partners, the night included so much more than the workshop itself.

I’m especially grateful to everyone who has shown up, shared these events, brought friends, supported this small business and kept coming back over the past four years. Seeing familiar faces alongside first-timers is something I’ll never take for granted.

And yes... we’re doing it again. 👀

Our next Stitch & Mingle is coming this November with a Friendsgiving Edition, and we’re also looking for amazing local businesses who want to be part of the experience.
