Sick Media is proud to welcome Illegal Curve Hockey to our network! 🏒

Since 2007, Illegal Curve has built a trusted voice in Winnipeg sports, delivering in-depth coverage of the Jets and Manitoba Moose.

Beginning October 13, fans can tune in to a daily live show at 3 p.m. CT, plus live post-game coverage after every Winnipeg Jets game.

We’re excited to partner with Dave Minuk, Drew Mindell and Ezra Ginsburg, supporting their continued growth with Sick Media’s production, sales and network resources while preserving the voice and local identity fans know and love.

This partnership marks another step in expanding our coverage across Canadian NHL markets and connecting fans with the voices closest to their teams.

Congrats to Domenic DiVincentiis on the 3-0 shutout vs. the Chicago Wolves on Saturday 🙌🏻🚫🥅 ....... this one is in the books as it's the first time in Moose franchise history they’ve shut out an opponent in their season opener!! 👊🏻

One hockey game. Four international soccer matches. Five reasons you shouldn’t have checked out early Friday. 👀

So which game actually owned the day?

We ranked the five worth going back for — without telling you what happened.

Which one are you watching first?

A lot happening in this pic.
• Good look at Stuart Skinner’s gear and mask for the Jets’ alternate jerseys
• Goalie Coach Wade Flaherty still rocking the old TRUE holder on his skates
• Glimpse at Clay Stevenson’s strapping (and butt)

🚨 BARKFEST PENALTY REPORT 🏒🐾

The refs were BUSY this weekend. 😂
Ruffing. Treat interference. Illegal zoomies. Unsportsmanlike cuteness.

Some showed remorse.
Most would absolutely do it again. 😂

Thanks to all the offenders who stopped by the Winnipeg Jets Dogs Penalty Box! 🏒🐶

Middle-aged man. Zero social media skills. One very big flyer. 🏒

Helly, Winnipeg loves you. Trolls, my ego died at an Amazonian retreat in Peru years ago, so fire away. 🦆💧 Fair warning: Having dealt with online hatred before (the fact that a Google search of “Curtis Unfried + Taylor Swift” leads to actual news stories still makes me laugh), I can confirm that “He identifies as idiot!” was my favourite. I’m sure some of you will try to do better than that. 🏈

The trolls are loud, but there are more of us. Let’s make our love louder. 💙

🎥 Make a 10-15 sec video → say your name and where you’re from, with a few words of positivity or a favourite memory of Helly → end with WE LOVE YOU, HELLY → tag 3 Jets fans.

Not on board? All good. You’re still welcome to the Home Opener. ✌️

Helly has given us 11 years, 3 Vezinas and 1 Hart. I recognize that the odds are stacked against me, but I’m still holding out hope he’ll be back for year 12. If this is, in fact, the end, let’s end it on a positive note! With everything he has given this franchise and City, he deserves better! Video edit by the legend Justin Gallego (@justinngallego ). Thank you Justin! 🙌 #WeLoveYouHelly #GoJetsGo #WinnipegJets #NBCNorwoodBookClub
