Woke up this morning hoping it would all be a bad dream. This is simply unreal. Rest in Power brother Ben Amador. Some people just have that strong and welcoming presence when you stand next to them. Ben was someone you always felt had your back and was always down if you needed anything. A solid man who knew how to put in that work but also have fun doing it.

I always admired the way your mind worked I felt like you had the ability to look at every issue from multiple sides and break it down to where we could plan our next move. Definitely got a lot of game from you and also had some great times.

A true soldier for the people. The whole Northern California community will be grieving this loss for a while but your impact will for sure live on. Thank you for everything and rest easy @ben.amador_official

Josh, 2026 🌪️
Proof of life, shot on film and digital

Josh reached out to me to work on a shoot that he’s been mentally and emotionally putting together after he connected the dots in his life.
The highs the lows. The mask on and off. The black and white.

So we shot around 20th and Mission, where life gave him another chance. Somewhere between our conversations about his diagnosis, Josh looks at me and says “all a fish knows is water”.

Just remember what happens on earth stays on earth.

Freedom Braiders

This past year, we graduated our first class, and it was nothing short of empowering. These incredible women didn’t just learn how to braid hair they discovered the skills of self-love, resilience, and transformation.

Upon release, they also gained access to vital resources, helping them rebuild their lives.

The Freedom Braiders Project is more than a program it’s a movement to uplift women worldwide, break cycles of incarceration, and provide the tools they need to succeed.

Next stop: Santa Rita County Jail—here we come!

Together, we’re changing lives one braid at a time.
