It almost feels strange to say it again... but yesterday Badger and I brought home 1st place once again at our Xtreme Trail competition.
Considering this is only our first year in Xtreme Trail, it feels even more special. Badger has always been a naturally spooky horse, so seeing him grow in confidence and trust is what makes me the proudest.
We also got to use the garrocha, something I've really come to love, and Badger handled it beautifully.
A big thank you to our amazing Xtreme Trail group for always cheering each other on. Having such a supportive team makes every competition even more enjoyable.
proud of Badgy

Big thanks to the trainers Saskia, Margaux and my mimi Ilona .
William for this amazing horse..

And to Tinneke for calming me down every time...

Lieve Caipi ♥️

My sweet Mimi
There may be a whole lotta Mimis out there in this big ol’ world, but there’s only one who’s my Mimi… and she’s the sweetest cowgirl of ’em all.
Thank you for the treasures you brought me from America. I’m mighty happy for the gifts, but even happier that my rodeo cowgirl came home safe and sound.
Keep ridin’ tall, Mimi you’re one of a kind, darlin’

From Belgium to Cheyenne.

Ilona Bercx just rode her way to Vice World Champion at the Women’s Ranch Bronc Championships during Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Read that again.

A Belgian rider. On that stage. In that arena. Against the world.

This is exactly why ZFC exists: to support the riders who are putting European rodeo on the map, one ride at a time.

Proud doesn’t even cover it.

Congratulations Ilona. Vice World Champion. ZFC rider Ilona Bercx celebrating becoming Vice World Champion at the Women’s Ranch Bronc Championships during Cheyenne Frontier Days, representing Belgian and European rodeo on the world stage.

The Trail to Cheyenne shirt was created to put real support behind Ilona and Kato. For every WRBC shirt sold, they receive money to help them keep pushing women’s ranch bronc forward and chase the road to Cheyenne 2026.

Don’t just support them from the sidelines. Wear the shirt and help fund the ride.
