So excited to have our first post-pandemic episode of Photopod available for your listening pleasure!

Amy Feitelberg (@photoburger), Photo Creative Lead at Square, is a great interview for so many reasons. I love that she's had her feet in both the branding and magazine worlds. Brands (like Apple, HBO, as well as Square) are hiring people with editorial experience. She’s produced great work for magazines, while Photo Director of Outside and Los Angeles magazines — and now at Square’s in-house mag, The Reader. Plus, she’s founding Curator of @imagesforhumanity — a photo charity supporting Ukraine that involves an amazing list of photographers.

@aphotoeditor and @jodyquon came up as well in conversation. Rob hired her as a photo editor for Outside mag, which we discuss at the beginning (in addition to how much we appreciate what Rob has done). And Jody came up because of her clever job post (in the show notes).

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to contribute one of my Skåne images, Svenssons’ geese, to this worthwhile organization, @imagesforhumanity, which is raising funds for The Ukraine Crisis Fundraiser.

100% OF ALL PROFITS WILL BE DONATED TO THE @redcrossukraine.

The work in the collection is stellar - with prints donated from icons in the industry (I already ordered one print and am figuring out which to order next). This is a tremendous opportunity to help the Ukraine 🇺🇦 and also receive some beautiful pieces of art.
