I'm genuinely up for just about anything. 😂 A 6am workout, a beach walk, coffee, a sound bath, a hike, arts and crafts, a spontaneous adventure… or waking up ridiculously early to dance as the sun comes up. I love all of it. And if you suggest something I've never tried before, chances are I'll want to give that a go too! Got the kids? Bring them! A playcentre or playground? You can guarantee I'll be right in there joining in on the fun. 😂 But I'm also just as happy sitting on the couch in our comfy clothes, having a cuppa and talking about absolutely everything and nothing. No need to tidy the house, organise anything special or make a big fuss. Come as you are. Because for me, it's never really been about what we're doing. I just genuinely love spending time with the people I love. Please tell me I'm not the only one who's up for all of it?! What's your ideal catch-up with friends? 🤎

WE’VE DONE IT AGAIN. 🥹🤎 Ticketed events for the Perth school holidays are here! Perth school holiday planning mode is officially ON… and yes, we’re still collating, checking and cross-checking all the FREE things happening these school holidays too, so you don’t have to. That guide is coming next. 🙌 And there is A LOT. So much, in fact, that with Instagram’s 20-slide carousel limit, we may need to turn our ticketed school holiday events into a Part One + Part Two next holidays. 😅 We know there are still more events out there too — some haven’t officially been announced yet, some details are still being finalised, and new things always seem to pop up once the holidays begin. We’ve checked and cross-checked the information included here, but please always check directly with the business, venue or organiser before heading out, as dates, times, availability and event details can change. And because we know this guide will keep growing, we’ll continue adding any new finds and updates in the comments below. 👇 And you’re absolutely welcome to add yours too! If you know of a ticketed Perth school holiday event we’ve missed, pop it below so other families can find it too. 🤎 Save this one for the school holidays + send it to another Perth family who needs it. ✨ The Lizard Gang - @sparepartspuppets Hermit - @awesomeartsfestival Snuggleplay - @awesomeartsfestival Touch & Go - @awesomeartsfestival Stellarphant - @awesomeartsfestival @barkinggeckoarts Walk of the Whales - @barkinggeckoarts @awesomeartsfestival Mystique - @mystiquemagicillusion @crownperth Come Alive! 📍Imagination Haven, Dianella On Friday, we stepped into the ‘Wild Wonders’ of Imagination Haven 🦏🌿✨ The sensory stations were beautifully set up and inspired by World Rhino Day! Little man had the best time exploring - from potion play 🧪✨ and giving the animals a bath in the watering hole 💦🦒, to creating his very own zoo in the playdough! 🐘🦏🦁 Ayesha has such a warm and welcoming presence and always greets everyone with the biggest smile. 🥰 When she noticed little man was having a hard time leaving, she gifted him some playdough from the session so we could continue the fun at home. Such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! 💛 I honestly think starting your little one’s day with sensory play is one of the best things - not only for them, but for us mums too! 🙌🏼 It gives our littles so many different ways to learn and play - encouraging creativity and imagination, developing fine motor skills, exploring different textures and, most importantly, just having FUN! 🌈✨ And while they’re happily exploring, us mums get a little moment to catch up and connect with other mums too. 🫶🏼 Building meaningful connections while our littles play - what could be better? Little man absolutely loved bumping into one of his friends at the session… and Mum was pretty happy to see friends too! 🥰 Such a lovely morning filled with sensory fun, smiles and familiar faces. 💛 We’ll definitely be back! 🦏🌿✨ @imagination_haven_ #sensoryplay #imaginationhaven #toddleractivities #learningthroughplay #kindlyinvitedbutwouldcomeback

Celebrating dads, granddads and father figures last weekend at a wonderful event hosted by some of Perth’s amazing local vendors. 🩵 We had an absolute blast bowling, golfing, playing tennis and soccer with @geckosports_westcoast , followed by plenty of sensory play with @imagination_haven_ @picnicandplayperth @creativemunchkinsperth . Our hearts were full seeing so many little ones having the best time with their role models. 🥹 Such a beautiful way to kick off Father’s Day weekend - with plenty of quality time, laughter and, most importantly, play. 💙

Back at @imagination_haven_ today after not making it along for a little while, and I was reminded that creative play sessions can hold so much more than what we see on the surface. We see the little ones immersed in play — exploring, creating, experimenting and connecting. But sometimes, quietly beside all of that, the grown-ups are finding connection too. Today I found myself talking with another mum and having one of those conversations where you realise just how many parts of your stories overlap. IVF. Parenting without much of a village. The way motherhood can shift your sense of who you are and leave you wondering where you fit in a career you once felt so certain about. There’s something really special about meeting someone who just gets it. Someone you click with. Someone who understands the juggle, shares some of the same experiences and seems to see this season of motherhood through a similar lens. Sometimes we take our children somewhere to fill their cups, and without really expecting it, ours gets filled a little too. 💚

Father's Day Pop-Up Event When looking for something special to do to celebrate the father figures in our lives, this was a no-brainer! 💙 Sensory play? 🙌 Amazing local businesses coming together? ✨ A raffle for a great cause? 🎟️ Say less… we’re there! 🥰 We had such a lovely time at the Father’s Day Pop-Up hosted by @creativemunchkinsperth , @imagination_haven_ and @picnicandplayperth , alongside @perth.dadventures , @dayna.photography , @babystar_book , @littlepurplecrayon and @geckosports_westcoast - all while raising funds for @mens_talk_au 💙 Little man absolutely loved having his Dad there to play with him at all the different stations. 🥹 Being a FIFO family, we don’t often get the chance to attend events like this together - especially ones where we get to celebrate Dad! G proudly showed Dad around, teaching him what to do at each station and sharing one of his favourite ways to play. Watching them explore and play together was honestly so sweet. 🥰 And the best part? Over $1,000 was raised for @mens_talk_au ! 🎉👏 How amazing is that?! Such a beautiful event for such a wonderful cause. A huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing it all together! 💙✨ #fathersdayfun #sensoryplay #perthfamilies #fifofamily #supportmenshealth
