POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In the Dungeon Crawler Carl Roleplay game, character creation is designed to let your imagination run wild with plenty of opportunities for creating drama. Tables like this give you a great jump start but the real magic happens when your players start throwing ideas around!

We're not saying you should create a horse from a famous theme park with identity issues, but one of our cast did and it was totally a team effort of glorious "yes and" energy sparked by a single "what if" by @eatplayrole .

Your tables are community story time, embrace it and enjoy the ride.

🍩 Photo from the pdf released by @renegade_game_studios to backers of the recent crowdfunding campaign. We may have got a celestial box.

We've started doing homework now that we have our hands on the Dungeon Crawler Carl TTRPG pdfs. We love our homework.

"If you've been rolling dice for your backgrounds like a pregnant raccoon rampaging through a liquor store, why stop now?"

14 pages into one of the supplements and every page has made @imaginif smile.

Hats off @renegade_game_studios

We can't wait to add to the story.

The heroic raid on Ghostworks was a success! ...But something was let loose from the Atlas Mountains. Can our heroes help the freed captives while also dealing with... a cryptid crisis?!

#GENCON is done and YET AGAIN I took way too few photos. BUT!

It was an amazing con! Got to see lots of old friends, made many new ones. I had two live shows (one with @briancolin the other with @pretendingpod), one panel thanks to @classicsamnygm and moderated by @mika_mcintosh , and a secret third thing with @shellyvonmiller.

I got to go to amazing events each evening. HUGE thanks to everyone who included me, I couldn't appreciate it more. You know who you are 💖

While I was ABSURDLY busy the whole con, I did get to see a few friends and I was able to have Real Human Person Conversations™️ which are increasingly rare and difficult now that I'm in Germany. You all truly mean so much to me and I'm so thankful for you 💖

I got a small clutch of new #ttrpg stuff, I'll share those later with some thoughts.

AND LOOK AT THIS YELLOW AND LAVENDER DRESS! She is one of my favorite ever sewing projects and she turned out SO BEAUTIFULLY.

🚨 🚨 UPDATE 🚨 🚨

I am vertical after GenCon. Completely lost my voice so rudimentary ASL and text-to-voice apps in the meantime.

Big Love to everyone this weekend being so accommodating and understanding.

I have the best friends and community in the world.

Shout out @imaginif for getting me to GenCon and back. And for putting up with my playlists.

Gen Con is just two weeks away!!

In addition to some press commitments & recreational game panels & activities that interest me, I have the wild-honor of sharing the stage with some truly amazing & talented people on Thu. 7/30 & Fri. 7/31 🙌

Thank you so much, @classicsamnygm , for thinking to include me in your programming, as well as for bringing your delightful energy to the @tabletopmisfit live play for Night of the Wyrm!!

I can’t wait to see the TTRPG community assemble en masse at the end of the month, and until then - take care!!

The @dontkillmycharacterrpgs crew had an amazing time at @originsgamefair !

Thank you to my dear friends @alexanderwrites91 @curlyinsaneguy @samsarverwriter and @imaginif, my beloved @extrilltheking, and everyone who made it such an amazing time.

Professional photos and videos from the incredible @richschmidphotography of the Mutants & Masterminds Mega Event by @uspstream , Don’t Kill My Character, and @mayhemcast are on the way. That event and the Columbus in Darkness Vampire LARP were my favorite events of the con.

And in case you only follow @katethegreatcosplays and haven’t watched the shows on @dontkillmycharacterrpgs : Yes, @extrilltheking is my boyfriend 😊

My next con is ConnectiCon this week!
