✨ When passion meets purpose, incredible things happen! ✨

A huge congratulations to ICMP alumna @imisipeletu for becoming a mentee with Black Lives in Music, a platform dedicated to empowering the next generation of music industry professionals 🎶

Imisi graduated from our BA Creative Musicianship course in 2023, sharing:

“It afforded me the opportunity to explore different facets as a musician, songwriter, composer and performer, and highlighted the importance of constant development while providing education and knowledge on the music industry.”

Now performing on The Voice and championing diversity in music, Imisi’s journey is a true testament to talent, dedication, and purpose 🎤

My next book launch event is taking place next Saturday, 21 October, at Barnet Council in Colindale.

For £10 only, you get to hear some really cool poems read by their authors, enjoy 3 live music performers, listen to a smart Associate Professor and the Deputy Mayor of Barnet talk about why we need to be informed, inspired and intentional about being anti-racist.
AND…
Included in the £10 are some light refreshments and a £2 discount off my book. If that’s not a bargain, I don’t know what is!
If you do nothing else this Black History Month, you can’t afford to miss this! It’s gonna be fun…
Tickets are available from www.blackinwhiteservices.co.uk or from Eventbrite.
