We’re halfway through our run of Drunk Shakespeare: Romeo and Juliet! We’ve worked hard to make this show the joy that it is to perform 8 times a week and we want to see you there before Sept. 20th! Tix in my bio and dm me for promo codes! ¨̮

DRUNK SHAKESPEARE DALLAS is performing Romeo + Juliet and tonight it was the super awesome Fallon’s turn to take multiple tequila shots. She handled them better than I used to inasmuch as she could still be funny, perform Shakespeare, and not try to take a dozen bottles home.
.
There are only five actors for these shows and it’s got the feel of improv sketch comedy, while at the same time everyone clearly has solid acting chops and could perform the material “straight” (as I’ve seen Fallon do) which is necessary to keep it fun without descending into farce.
.
Don’t look at pics 7-10 if you don’t want to know how Romeo + Juliet ends. Or The Notebook.
.
As always, it is a joy to see Outcry alums “beyond the nest” and I’m glad I could see a show like this within walking distance!
