We’re delighted to take the opportunity to show our members work to a whole new audience, and are grateful to the Island Arts Centre, Lisburn for this opportunity.

Celebrating 25 years of the Island Arts Centre, and Seacourt’s recent move back into Bangor’s city centre.

The work on show will be based on the artists involved revisiting an older piece of work, re-evaluating it with fresh eyes and new techniques, and bringing it to life again through the medium of print. The new pieces will be exhibited alongside the older pieces, giving the viewer a chance to see the artist’s progression, or change of focus.

It gives the artist an opportunity or reason to reflect back on another time in their lives and perhaps shift the emphasis to focus on current inspirations and interests.

Here is a sneak peek of the work delivered safely and ready to be hung.

The opening of this exhibition will be on Saturday 24th October from 2-4pm and will run until the 21st November. We hope you can make it along!

World Mental Health Day fell on Saturday, and we spent it celebrating and connecting with all of you at ShoreLife 2026! 🌊☀️

The sun stayed out, the vibes stayed high, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along.

From Mount Stewart regulars to first-timers, families and little explorers, plus our brilliant presenters and workshop hosts, there was something for everyone. We got stuck into artistic printing, survival skills, aquatic introductions, crafting for the sky and its feathered residents, and plenty more where that came from!

Here are just a few highlights from a wonderful day of connection, creativity and nature exploration. See you next year📷🤩

This Saturday is World Mental Health Day, and Shorelife Festival is marking it with a day of creating, connecting and getting back to nature at Mount Stewart.

Design and fly a kite inspired by the resident Brent geese, try free screen printing with artist Imogen Donegan to create your exclusive Shorelife T-shirt, or slow down with a therapeutic photography workshop. There’s a commemorative poster to take home, a printmaking activity for little artists, and plenty more besides.🪁🎨📷

Join us at Mount Stewart on Saturday the 10th of October, to slow down and reconnect.

𝙼𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚏𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚜!

Our fab duo Amy and Anna have come to the end of their placement with us, so we celebrated in style last week with some pizza and fizz!
Thankfully you will still see them both around as part of our Seacourt family, just in different capacities.
Thank you to you both - you stepped in to the job with ease, and made our lives all the more sweeter.

Lots of love from us all xx

✂️ Is this the most satisfying part of rug tufting?

That moment the finished rug is finally cut free from the frame… especially watching the scissors come straight through from the other side! 😮‍💨🔥

Awesome work by @imogendonegan — the finished piece looks unreal!

Fancy trying rug tufting for yourself? Send us a DM to find out more about our sessions. Online booking will be available very soon 👀
