Today is my last day at @betterreadbookshop

Becoming the buyer for an independent bookshop was truly a job I never knew existed (note the excitement in the last photo as an artefact of my first day), and I am so grateful that people took a chance on me and trusted that I liked suitably pretentious books. I have been lucky to work with friends, be taken care of by my work mum , create the best bookclub of all time, honestly create most of my friendships (book, ice-cream, and martini based), and work with absolutely amazing sales reps who made the job the best it could possibly be and tolerated me being an insufferable know-it-all.

I will miss the annoyingly sized blue shelves, but am very excited to be a Buyer At Large for roughly 16 hours before I start buying books again.

Vendor at my first ever art market. Nearly cried when someone went through my little box of post cards and am still pinching myself that strangers have my photos in their possession now.
Most of my photos have a little poem/story/paragraph either inspired by the picture or the events that lead me to take it.
None of this would have been possible without the help, support and encouragement from my tiny sweet wife @emma.fouche. Thank you for making my dreams come true 💜💕

Test set up for the market on the 29th. Can't believe I got all this done in a week and a half. From 0 prints to this! Very nervous for Saturday to set it all up for real, hope to see you there if you're in Paris!

I've booked my first ever art market and my business cards have just arrived. Can't really believe that I feel ready (though v anxious) to present my photography to the world for the first time and it's in large part because of the support of my tiny wife @emma.fouche 💜

SALAMI IS SIX WHOLE YEARS OLD. She's a girl who's done it all, a mother of 7, relearnt to walk after being paralysed from mid back down, moved from Australia to France, visited 4 countries and counting, given me the most joy and brought life to the darkest days. She's my angel and I am so grateful to get to watch her live life with such verve
