The service we render as leaders to our people is geared towards securing a sustainable future and bequeathing our nation a society with an economy that guarantees prosperity for all.

This is why the #RenewedHope agenda is on a mission of consolidation, building on ongoing reforms, and laying a stronger foundation for national development.

At the Ranchers Bees Stadium, Kaduna, we flagged off the Presidential Campaign Rally for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, reaffirming our commitment to a mission of restoration, economic reforms, and infrastructural transformation across the nation.

Our pledge remains firm and unwavering: to continue building a nation that inspires hope, creates opportunities, guarantees shared prosperity, and remains a source of pride for every citizen - a nation we can all proudly call our own.

From Federal roads to State and Local Government roads across Imo State, we remain steadfast in delivering the road projects undertaken as part of our mission to transform Imo State for greatness. Each completed project reflects our commitment to infrastructure development, improved connectivity, and better livelihoods for our people.

The completion of the Orlu–Mgbe–Akokwa–Uga Road is not merely a reality; it is a demonstration of our commitment to service and a promise to the people, now fulfilled. Severely threatened by erosion along the Umuchima axis, the road had constrained socioeconomic activities and disrupted connectivity across the region.

However, through strategic bridge construction and erosion-control works along the Umuchima axis, we have not only mitigated the erosion threat but also restored safety, revived commerce, strengthened connectivity, and created renewed opportunities for socioeconomic growth across the region and Imo State at large.

I joined my dear brother, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru and family, to bid a final farewell to his beloved stepmother, Late Lolo Nwankwonshii Ezekiel Nwifuru Nwankpu.

While her departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her loved ones, may they find comfort in the worthy life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind.

I pray that Almighty God grants her eternal rest and gives the entire family the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss.

Ever wondered how Banana Junction in Orlu earned its name?

Located in the Amaifeke area of Orlu, Banana Junction is popularly associated with the abundance of banana traders in the area, making bananas more prominent than other fruits in its local trade. It is also a familiar stopover for travellers looking to buy fresh bananas along their journey.

Just as Enugu is widely associated with its famous Okpa, Banana Junction has built its own identity around the availability of bananas. Sometimes, the simplest things become the most recognizable symbols of a place!

Beyond its unique identity, the junction serves as an important road intersection connecting routes around Orlu, including the Owerri–Orlu Road.

Our journey also takes us along the approximately 37-kilometre Owerri–Orlu Road, where the smooth road surface highlights the importance of good road infrastructure in connecting communities, easing movement, and supporting local businesses.

A major drainage development is taking shape in Ikenegbu, Owerri, extending towards Aladimma, as work progresses on improving drainage connectivity and water flow within the area.

The ongoing construction may also explain the recent vacation of the premises by one of Owerri’s popular local restaurants @josephs_pot , as the drainage alignment reportedly passes through part of its operational space.

Following recent concerns about flooding in parts of the city, this drainage intervention is expected to help improve water discharge and reduce the risk of future flooding.

The proximity of the Local Government to the grassroots makes it indispensable to effective service delivery, inclusive development, and the implementation of policies that directly impact citizens. For this reason, I hold Local Government in high esteem.

In my keynote address as Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) at the ALGON General Assembly in Abuja, I reminded members of their critical role in translating government policies into tangible benefits for the people at the grassroots.

I also acknowledged their support for the #RenewedHope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which remains vital to advancing our shared development agenda. I urge them to sustain this commitment and strengthen grassroots governance for a more prosperous Nigeria.

We went straight to the source to hear the unfiltered truth about the Nigerian economy from the people carrying the heaviest weight. The market traders. No grammar, no stats, just raw street mathematics. From money losing value and “look and pass” customers to the nightmare of restocking tomorrow morning with today’s small profit... e no easy at all.
Be honest: How are you managing the pressure on your side? Drop your testimony in the comments. Let’s gist. 👇

As a political party, we fully understand the responsibility entrusted to us by the Nigerian people and the mandate we have been contracted to deliver. With President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the helm of affairs, his visionary leadership has continued to drive progress across the nation, advancing reforms and delivering measurable progress across critical indices of national development.

At the inauguration of our party’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), where I am privileged to head the Secretariat, I highlighted the vision of the Progressive Governors in championing the #RenewedHope continuity agenda in the best interest of our nation. This vision is anchored on economic transformation, strengthening the capacity of subnational governments and empowering them to deliver greater democratic dividends to the people.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has remained faithful to his mandate, delivering quality governance and working to restore the dignity and confidence of our nation. As we look towards the next tenure, we remain firmly committed to his mandate, working harmoniously and purposefully to consolidate the gains of his visionary leadership and advance a more prosperous Nigeria for all.
