New York Climate Week Family Office Forum Luncheon

During the United Nations General Assembly week, this invitation-only impact investor luncheon brought together senior executives, policymakers, investors, philanthropists, and international leaders for conversations about collaboration and shared opportunities.

Peace Boat US co-hosted the luncheon together with Welch International, Jonathan Barry and Katie Hoffman as part of the New York Innovation Forum programming at 777 United Nations Plaza on September 22.

Partners enjoyed exchanging perspectives, hearing what others are working on for sustainability, and exploring how the public, private, and nonprofit sectors can work together.

The Forum could not have been the success that it was without all of your support. We would especially like to thank all of our organizing partners for the amazing collaboration throughout the week of events. We are excited to share with you this album which includes photos from both the New York Innovation Forum and all of our extended Peace Boat US Climate Week 2026 events.

The New York Innovation Forum for Sustainable Development was hosted during a pivotal week for global dialogue. The forum brought together voices from civil society, conservation, business, technology, finance, and policy to exchange ideas and strengthen partnerships for ocean and climate action. The conversations centered on a shared question: how can we turn innovation and collaboration into solutions that reach communities and advance the Sustainable Development Goals? We are grateful to everyone who contributed their perspectives, made new connections, and will help to carry these conversations forward. This year’s Family Office Forum luncheon was co-hosted with Peace Boat US, Welch International, Jonathan Barry and Katie Hoffman. We look forward to more collaborations for sustainability!

The United Nations General Assembly is a week where the most influential business, finance, tech, policy, and international relations leaders convene to shape the future of the planet. I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to share the stage with @emilie_mcglone and @peaceboatus at the inaugural New York Innovation Forum which took place at 777 United Nations Plaza.

For two days global thought leaders shared ways collaborate, partner, and work together to leave a positive impact on the planet.

While I enjoyed sharing the work I am doing, co-hosting the event with @emilie_mcglone, and learning from other like minded world leaders, the biggest highlight for me was simply stepping back and seeing everyone interact.

I can’t wait to see what action unfolds afterwards, and learn about the success stories that came from this event as we prepare for the 2027 New York Innovation Forum.

We were deeply honored to have Her Royal Excellency Amb. Prof. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, First Lady of Kwara State @firstladykwara , grace us with her presence at Veiled Truth.

Because Veiled Truth was never only about what walked the runway.

It was about the conversations in between. The voices that made us think. The stories shared openly. And the small, unscripted moments that reminded us why bringing people together matters.

Throughout the evening, our panelists and speakers opened conversations around identity, purpose, creativity, impact, and the experiences that shape who we become.

From @sonia_barbie_tucker and @dxo, to the perspectives shared by @astoldbymichelle, @hopelandbhs, @impact.architect, @auntyeugenia and @brit.eba .eba each voice brought something different into the room.

We watched people listen. Connect. Exchange ideas. Laugh. Reflect. Meet someone they may never have otherwise crossed paths with.

And sometimes, those are the moments that stay with us the longest.

We were also grateful to have @itssjordanmarch be part of the evening, alongside designer @janepriestermadethis adding yet another layer of creativity and community to what Veiled Truth became.

The runway may capture our attention.
But the people give it meaning.

The speeches.
The conversations.
The introductions.
The moments between the moments.

Those are the parts of an event you can’t always plan, and often the ones worth remembering most.

I Spoke at the United Nations 🤯 I had the honor of taking the stage at the United Nations for the Business Innovation Forum to talk about what we’re building: the operating system for human health, giving you the access and power back over your own healthcare data. Big thank you to our moderator, social entrepreneur and humanitarian Katie Hilborn, who led a powerful conversation on what makes an investor go from “this is interesting” to “this is it.” The answer? It all starts with the relationship. Once you understand the person, see a true track record of success, and do your due diligence, that’s when you’ve found someone worth backing. I don’t think the next paradigm is going to be built by choosing between ancient wisdom and modern innovation.

I think we’re going to need people who can hold both.

Spirit and structure.

Ancient wisdom and emerging technology.

Inner transformation and real-world execution.

Individual sovereignty and collective intelligence.

For a long time, we’ve treated these worlds as though they belong in separate conversations.

But what if some of the most important innovations come from bringing them back together?

Looking back, I realize much of my own life was preparing me for exactly that.

I spent years moving between different worlds.

Healing and entrepreneurship.

Spirituality and systems.

Individual transformation and community building.

And eventually I realized…

Maybe the bridge itself was part of the work.

That became part of the foundation of NERA.

Because ideas alone don’t create a new paradigm.

We also need the relationships, systems, and infrastructure that allow people to actually live them.

The future needs bridge builders.

People who can carry a vision across worlds… and create structures that allow others to cross with them.

Before I went to America House, I sat by a tree in Sedona AZ and I roared. I roared like a Warrior willing to devote my life to the mission of protecting our land, our earth, and our people.

I believe in living the ideal future in the moment. That’s why when a new friend invited me to UN climate week, I woke up at 2:30 am to leave America House, catch a bus, and then a train to New York City. I attended as many events as I could.
.
I met Nigerian peace ambassadors and Indigenous grandmothers. I sauna’d with the Finnish consulate. I deepened new friendships and strengthened old ones. I dared to dream my future infrastructure into reality.
I said yes without knowing how all this would happen. I said yes, not because the United Nations is perfect, but because I consider it my civic joy to involve myself in creating the future we want to see for America and the world.

The Family Office Forum Impact Investor Luncheon convenes Everyday Heroes - investors, principals and family offices, the people making consequential capital decisions, during the 81st United Nations General Assembly and New York Climate Week.

The programme keynote is led by Robert Watson, Founding Father of LEED, whose standard the built world now measures itself against. Hosted by Jonathan Barry, Dylan Welch and Emilie McGlone. Featuring the Environmental Hall of Fame, with Katie Hilborn, Richie Hosein, Jud Ireland, Scott Spiegel, Vaughn Bergen and Adi Soozin.
