We’re thrilled to partner with Thermador and Custom Distributors for this spectacular showroom!

And there’s a lot more happening here than you might notice at first glance.

This is a larger-scale display created to integrate an extensive collection of Thermador appliances while still feeling like one cohesive kitchen.

As Stan walks us through, look for the details: custom ½” baseboards, split door panels, two-piece crown molding, appropriately scaled hardware, square inset cabinetry, and fully integrated appliances.

One of our favorite details? The datum line that carries through the entire kitchen, creating a consistent visual line even as cabinetry, appliances, and functions change.

It’s a showroom, but the same thinking goes into every Cooley project. Proportion, alignment, function, and the little details that make the whole space feel bespoke.

Beautiful quartzite mitered for that thick look with a little surprise for this makeup vanity. @impactcountertop did a great job working with us to bring this to life!

We dubbed this room “The Morning Room” and designed it to be a little retreat for our clients morning coffee and wellness rituals. As such, it was dying to have a custom daybed for lounging and starting the day off with a positive mindset. We designed this day be with a modern silhouette, bun feet, and covered it @schumacher1889 fabric.

The second piece of custom furniture in this space is the solid marble coffee table, which was also designed by us and made here in Columbus, OH by our favorite fabricator, @impactcountertop

Soft neutrals come together with a vintage rug from the 1960s, large scale art and sculptural lighting.

One of our favorite things about this project is that our client let us embrace curves. The round coffee table and soft arms of the lounge chair and settle are the perfect compliment to the applied molding.

Wall art that brings a sense of calm and objects that act in tension with each other are our speciality. Here, a feminine lamp by @mymitzi pairs with a modern candle holder by @audocph and a vintage vessels sourced from Morocco.
