⏮️ Recap : Bondi to Manly

Last year I had the privilege of volunteering at the finish line of the Bondi to Manly Ultra 🏃‍♂️🌊

What an incredible experience being there to welcome the legends who took on the full 80km journey from Bondi to Manly. Handing out finishers’ t-shirts, celebrating their achievements, and seeing the smiles (and relief!) as they crossed the line was something that I won’t forget.

A huge shoutout to everyone who took on the challenge, and also to my fellow volunteers who helped make the day so special 🙌

Can’t wait to be back again this year volunteering to support the incredible runners who take on this epic course!

Medal Monday 🏅

In 2025, we started a tradition that hopefully continues every year with Medal Monday 🏅 Members from the TCS Sydney Marathon Support Group on Facebook came together to celebrate their achievements at the Sydney Marathon.

A lap around the Opera House, showing Benny our medals, group chats and photos and brekkie afterwards.

Join the best unofficial Sydney Marathon forum on facebook… search for “TCS Sydney Marathon Support Group”

Thanks to the forum admins and moderators that made this moment possible @enriques @aussiebecka @gojienomoto brophyrandy

Looking forward to doing this again in 6 weeks time!!

I can happily confirm that beer tastes better after finishing a marathon 🍻🍻🍻

Thanks to Jimmy’s Rooftop Bar for the complimentary beer, I’ve never worked so hard before for a beer, but happy to try it again in 6 weeks time!!

Runaway Noosa Half Marathon 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

My first race on Australian soil after the London Marathon back in May. Always such a vibe! Highly recommend this half marathon for a red hot crack at a PB!

I always look like I’m struggling to stay alive when a race photographer paps me, but my race photos at Noosa actually look pretty good! So happy that I even paid money and bought them!

7️⃣ TCS SYDNEY MARATHON BALLOT 7️⃣

I felt very privileged to have been invited to a media event to announce the results from the TCS Sydney Marathon 2025. This was the first ballot ever held for the TCS Sydney Marathon in its first year as a major. While I am sad for those who missed out on gaining a place, I am also overjoyed for those who gained a place!! See you on the starting line on August 31st!

For those who don’t know me well, Sydney (all going to plan) will be my 6th @wmmajors star!! ⭐️

Congratulations to everyone at Pont3, Sydney Marathon, TCS and to Minister Graham on the fantastic marathon ballot success!

Berlin Marathon Expo 2022

My journey to Berlin began in 2020 after I was accepted into the 2021 Berlin Marathon. Closed borders and CV19 delayed my arrival into Berlin until 2022… but my time has come!!

I went to the Marathon Expo on Friday at midday. Strangely the Expo opened at 11am but closed at 8pm. The expo was based at a disused airport and the main hall was an aircraft hangar.

The expo was massive, larger than what I can remember at New York.
The lines to pick up race bibs and prepaid merchandise was very long!!

I did film a video of my expo experience which I will be sharing with you all soon!!

Celebrating 💯 runs with this amazing and fantastic group!!

I began running with Midnight Runners after coming back from the 2019 New York Marathon as I was looking for something different to spice up my training.

100 runs later I haven’t looked back and have made many new running friends and I’ve brought several into the group too.

One run can change your life and many runs will change your life forever!

I’m looking forward to my first international Midnight Runners runs with London & Paris verysoon!
