✨ Three days in Paris. One shared EUniWell vision. From 12 to 14 October, students, university leaders and staff from across the Alliance met in Paris for the 11th EUniWell Rectors’ Assembly, hosted by @inalco. 🇫🇷 For the first time, #EUniWell students came together in their Thematic Labs to exchange ideas, share experiences, and work together on topics that matter to them. 🌍 The Open Session, “Multilingualism in a Multipolar World”, explored how languages and cultures can strengthen research, education, inclusion, and well-being, with early findings from LIME, our research on how students and staff live multilingualism across the Alliance. Professor Beatrix Busse, EUniWell Chief Development Officer, opened the Closed Session, which focused on the Alliance’s strategic priorities. ✨ Students, colleagues and university leaders: building well-being together. A big thank you to Inalco, our hosts in Paris, and to everyone who helped make these two days possible! 🔗 Read more about the EUniWell Rectors’ Assembly: link in bio! #EUniWellRectorsAssembly #BuildingWellbeing #EUnited4Wellbeing #EUniWellStudents #EuropeanUniversities

✨ Three days of exchange, collaboration, and connection at @inalco for the 11th #EUniWell Rectors' Assembly. ✨ From 12 to 14 October, colleagues from across EUniWell came together in Paris to exchange perspectives, strengthen connections, and work together on continued development. Amid the ongoing mobilisation of secondary school pupils and university students across France, the event had to adapt to the circumstances. Prof. Delphine Allès, Acting Rector of @inalco, urged the Alliance to view the situation not merely as a logistical challenge, but also as an opportunity for reflection. The Open Session was under the theme: 🌍 Multilingualism in a Multipolar World The afternoon brought together different perspectives on culture, multilingualism and research, including contributions from our hosts at Inalco and colleagues from across EUniWell. The programme explored Multilingualism in Research at Inalco, The Modern Mediterranean, and Lived Multilingualism within EUniWell, before culminating in a Rectors’ and Students’ Round Table. The discussions created space to reflect on how our universities can bridge cultures, connect perspectives, and build well-being across the EUniWell community. Three days, many perspectives, one shared EUniWell community. 🤝 Thank you to Inalco, our hosts in Paris, and to all colleagues, speakers and participants who contributed to the Assembly. #EUniWellRectorsAssembly #BuildingWellbeing #EUnited4Wellbeing Photo Credits: ThibautChapotot

A few moments from my September conversations about TRAVELING IN BARDO in Paris, Leiden, and London. From the Paris Writers Group Atelier (with Simone de Beauvoir looking on) and INALCO in Paris, to Leiden University, to Love Supreme Projects in London, it was a joy to talk about my book with writers, students, scholars, and readers. I also loved visiting the MFA program at The American University of Paris, where students had read part of Traveling in Bardo and we discussed everything from craft to the in-between. Grateful to my wonderful hosts—Mary Duncan, Amanda Dennis, Françoise Robin, Berthe Jansen, and Manizeh Rimer—and to everyone who came, listened, asked questions, and shared their stories. @aup_grad @amargaretdennis @inalco @asian_studies @lovesupremeprojects @gcpbalance @stonesongnyc #travelinginbardo #authorevents
