And then there is India (seated). This picture captures our first meeting 22 years and many lifetimes ago backstage at the iconic Greek Theatre. Odds were that it would be the first and last time we’d meet, but that’s not what happened. Lucky for me. An enduring bond and caring friendship was formed. We’ve seen each other broken and down. We’ve supported each other’s growth and development. We’ve celebrated one another’s joys and accomplishments. India is far more than just an exquisite, modelesque beauty. She is a super smart therapist with a kind, thoughtful, nurturing and compassionate heart. India is powerfully strong, fiercely independent and toweringly courageous, yet she’s not afraid to share even her weakest, most vulnerable moments. She brings light and love to everything she does and to everyone lucky enough to be in her orbit. A quick message from India yesterday from halfway around the world is all that it took to make my day even before I got out of bed. Hearing her voice was magic. She’s just that special. Thank you for being an ongoing blessing in my life, India. I love and respect you more than you know. . . . . #veganhockeyplayer #vibrantNRG #throwbackthursday #tbt #friendship #love #respect #smart #grateful #blessed #blessing #lucky #beautiful #caring #compassionate #courageous #kind #thoughtful #loving #nurture #vulnerable #strong #powerful #independent #special #radiant #exquisite #beauty #greektheatre
