Introducing Reba Cox, the entrepreneur behind Indigo Tea and Coffee 🎉 Learn more about Reba and @indigoclt here👇

☕️ Located in Fourth Ward, Indigo Tea & Coffee is a neighborhood café serving crafted specialty tea and coffee drinks and serves as a hub for the community to come together.

☕️ Before opening Indigo, Reba worked in IT and previously owned a catering business. With a longtime passion for hospitality and food, owning her own space was always the dream, and she hopes to become a restauranteur one day!

☕️ Reba’s love for tea came from a tradition of sharing tea with her grandmother before bed or while watching TV. This sparked her curiosity for the different types of tea and she continues this tradition with her kids.

☕️ Reba intentionally created a space where both tea and coffee lovers can come together, offering unique options beyond the standard menu.

☕️ Indigo hosts community-focused events ranging from work with different creatives, to work with nonprofits, and kid focused events.

☕️ All the artwork within the building is by local artist @dammit_wesley, and Indigo plans to partner with the @mccollcenter to showcase even more local art 🖼️

☕️ Reba loves being in Uptown because of its diverse customer base, including corporate professionals, people that live in the neighborhoods, college students, and more!

☕️ One of her favorite events Indigo has hosted was a “Lattes and Littles” event where moms got an opportunity to network while their kids played with each other!

☕️ Reba designed Indigo Tea & Coffee to be an inclusive space that welcomes everyone in and makes everyone feel like they are a part of something special 🥰

NEW BLACK OWNED COFFEE SHOP in Charlotte, NC. @indigoclt Coffee & Tea is one of my favorite coffee shops in town and they have now re-opened with a new, much bigger space in Uptown Charlotte. Parking is validated, the coffee and teas are great, and the vibes are immaculate. Y’all be sure to check this one out and make it a part of your routine. Tell them I sent you!

Ooops! 😅

Almost forgot the part where I tell you how beautiful and well-curated @indigoclt’s new home in 4th Ward is.

Everything from the color palette, to the furnishings, and the art, feels like it says “Cmon on in. Can I get you something?”

I so excited for all the great things to come from Reba and her vision for this space. 🤩

One of my favorite tea and coffee shops just reopened in their beautiful new space!

I had their bourbon vanilla latte but I’lll definitely be back soon to get my tried and true banana bread latte!

This is my official application to be your new influencer. I don’t necessarily want to influence to buy clothes but to really live life.

I’m not the only one living with a heavy heart and I don’t want my identity to be the girl that’s experienced a lot of deaths.
