Focused on composting and community, Audra is on a mission to educate the city of Indianapolis on the importance of food scrap diversion and a circular food economy. Indy Go Green offers a curbside and drop-off service currently only to Indy’s NE side with plans to be the first food scrap focused composter in Central Indiana. Today Godzilla, King Ghidrah AND Mechagodzilla came to the market for one of the most epic battles we’ve ever seen! Luckily no one was insured, but the market is almost unrecognizable now with hardly anything left (see photo). So starting next week, we will be moving locations to the Broad Ripple Middle School, 9am-12pm through April. We’re told that our usual outdoor space should look as good as new by the first weekend of May. So until then, we’ll see you inside! Stay safe and have a happy Halloween!

We are proud to announce that the Indiana Composting Council became the 16th official state chapter of the US Composting Council on August 19, 2025. This milestone marks a significant step forward for Indiana’s composting community. Becoming a state chapter of the national organization strengthens our ability to collaborate, share resources, and advance the composting industry within Indiana. Together, we aim to create a meaningful, value-added impact across the state—supporting sustainable practices, healthy soils, and a circular economy. You can join our next event on October 2 to learn how composting supports healthy soils. Sign up at www.bit.ly/compost-tour
