Seriously even if you don’t feel like going or feel like doing anything today….just GO. Your body and your mind will thank you later. I usually keep the gym posts for my story but as the new year started a lot of you guys have been asking me how I started getting motivated to get back into all this. There’s no magic word or anything special- it’s just not giving yourself the option to say no. Once you make it a routine it’s just normal, then it’s your lifestyle. Enough of that, the next Mache runner drops 2/9. 😬

100 posts might not seem like a major milestone, BUT I’ve made a lot of amazing friends, met a lot of cool ass people (not all are pictured!), and to me THAT is a major milestone!

A little over a year into getting my butt back into shape and getting some more life balance. I know i made a post a few months back but thought it was time to check back in. The second pic was my breaking point around this time last year weighing in at 306, the most I’ve ever been in my whole life. And back then I never even realized how unhealthy I really was thinking i was “carrying it well”. We’ve now hit the point where the number isn’t AS important as it once was now that I’m putting more muscle on. With that being said today I’m at 248 with way more muscle and way less fat haha. It’s still a battle with the diet every day, I still love pizza, I still love burgers….I just eat way less of them than I used to and of course I train harder. I want to thank everyone who keeps pushing me to keep going. I’ve been told that while I’ve been motivated by other people that I’ve also been keeping some of you guys motivated and that’s freakin awesome to hear. I’ve learned that this is a marathon and not a sprint and each day is an opportunity to build on the progress that I made the day before. Take this post however you want but I’m freakin proud of what I’ve accomplished so far and I’m excited to see how much better I can still be. 💪
