#watquiltjijvandaag was afgelopen zondag weer de vraag. En wat kregen we weer leuke reacties binnen. Sommigen waren bezig met een nieuw project, anderen pakten een oud project op of hadden grootse plannen, maar kregen uiteindelijk niet zo veel gedaan. Hoe dan ook, het was weer een mooi quiltweekend voor veel van onze leden :-)

Gisteren hadden we een heerlijke middag met de dames van @dutchmqg , vol kleur, stofjes en gezelligheid!
Deze schitterende quilt uit het boek van @annamariahorner stal de show en ook de speciaal voor de bee gemaakte coasters vielen erg in de smaak.

Vandaag was de tweede dag van @breidagen in Breda. Vroeg uit de veren voor de workshop #wervel van Maaike van Geijn, @breielaar (maar niet het allervroegste, @evelien_knits was nog een uur eerder en @_.i_am_bindu._ kwam zelfs helemaal uit India!). Het waren heel inspirerende uurtjes, ik heb veel geleerd en ideeën opgedaan en hopelijk tot ziens!

Vind jij het ook zo inspirerend om te zien waar de leden mee bezig zijn? Hier een korte blik op wat we afgelopen week voorbij zagen komen; de natuur werd opgezocht, er werd geëxperimenteerd, gequilt, met de hand, met de machine. Andere creatieve hobby’s kwamen aan bod, er werden nieuwe projecten ontworpen en uitgedacht.

Ook zagen we verschillende blokken voorbij komen voor de vorm van deze maand, sneakpeeks van de Round Robin, nieuwe projecten en nog veel meer!

I was going to rethink this post because of the ridiculous decision Instagram has made to make our pics appear in a longer format on our grids. How is everyone else feeling about this? Honestly, I don't think they thought this through properly, or they just don't care! So many of us have carefully crafted our grids to work on the square format. Mine doesn't look how I'd like it, but for some, it has totally ruined their work. 😪

Thought I'd post this colourful mosaic to give you some inspiration for the #makeandmendkitsal
Obviously, you don't have to go with the patchwork in the pattern. Lots of my lovely testers and friends had really fun ideas for their covers. If you want to do something more time-consuming like EPP, you might like to start prepping and sewing together. Talented makers tagged! There are few of mine in there, too, plus the flower is also by @astitchwhimsy
