Moonrises over Greenland 🌙

There’s nothing quite like the soft light that the moon throws on an Iceberg as it drifts out to sea. The moonrise was so peaceful each night as the waves took us somewhere new. It became difficult to convince myself that sleep was even necessary. What if we passed something even more magnificent?

Iceland is a place that has captivated my dreams, my heart and so much more. I have created so many memories there, discovered amazing places and made some amazing friends.

My heart melts when I see this place on IG and can't wait for my next visit.

I could share so many thanks to many people over the years but the likes of @icelandbystefania @skyretreaticeland @gaukurfromiceland @dannytkaze @elisagd.storiesand and @ingib.thor have made me feel like Iceland is my second home. 🙌🇮🇸

A year ago I set sail in remote East Greenland, in the largest fjord system in the world known as Scoresbysund.

Together with @benjaminhardman and 10 others, we sailed for 8 memorable days within this fjord system. I This is a memory that will hold for a long time, and until the next expedition together 💭

Day 1: Our arrival into Constable point - a really basic runway on dirt, on a rainy day. Luggages were all wet!

On day 2, we encountered a total of 4 polar bears! 🐻‍❄️🐻‍❄️🐻‍❄️🐻‍❄️

Enjoying a coffee while witnessing wildlife unfold. ☕️

Refilling water so we can all shower 🚿

One of the highlights of the expedition, with so many icebergs trapped 🥶

Sailing with golden light spray over the horizon

Hiked over an hour to meet musk oxes for less than 10 seconds 🐂

Silt is a perfect canvas for our Opal to draw on ✍🏼

Shiny light on the waters in the fjord

A long sail back to the airport on day 7, meeting numerous huge icebergs along the way ⛵️

At the airport we met the first arctic fox, just to complete the collection! 🦊

I remember I shed a tear here, because i knew I am living this beautiful land 🥲

Westfjord Wonders happened…

Four days in the Westfjords. Six amazing humans. One very moody eclipse. Rain, clouds, insane landscapes, hot tubs, long drives, good food, big laughs and that weird moment when the middle of the day suddenly turned dark.

Westfjord Wonders was one hell of a trip. Everyone survived, nobody got lost, and somehow we all left as friends ❤️
Huge thanks to my co-host @ingib.thor and to this ridiculously good group for making it what it was.

Already missing it.

Daylight deleted

The sky was completely covered in clouds and the rain was absolutely hammering down, so there was no dramatic eclipse hanging in a perfect blue sky.

But then the daylight started dropping, the mood shifted and Iceland was sitting in darkness in the middle of the afternoon. Seeing that happen in real life was wild.

Cloudy. Wet. Dark. Unforgettable.
