Looking ahead…. Wednesday 14.10.2026
I just love opening the doors after a few days away….

This Vintage Turkish pot is a one off, with earthy tones and a beautiful weathered finish. Definitely one to see in person.

Come in, take your time and see what else catches your eye..

P.S. A little reminder to fellow Powderfinger fans, tickets go on sale tomorrow….

“ The Melbourne Edit” before it all begins… 🤎

I’m already in Melbourne, the girls are flying in and later today the three of us will finally be together. That is when the real fun begins.

There’ll be a very full car, boxes collected from the Post Office and everything else already waiting to come together at @mycityhideaway

Art to hang., textiles to layer, One off pieces to find their place. Beautiful things to play with, move around and see in a whole new setting.

Today is the gathering, the unpacking, the styling and all those little decisions that will make “The Melbourne Edit” come to life.

This is a one time only online exhibition, running 21–23 August, with the main event Saturday 22.08.2026 shared across our socials, with pieces available to purchase by DM.

For now, we’re enjoying the anticipation.

Three friends
One beautiful space
A car full of things
And a whole day ahead of us

See you later today. 🤎

Artful Giving 2025……One year ago today. 🤎🖤🤎

A day filled with art, beautiful spaces, generous people, good food, connection and most importantly, a shared desire to make a difference in our community.

Looking back, I’m still incredibly proud of what was created here and so grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life. You all know who you are 🤎🤎🤎

The @gunnedahgrounds is such a special space, and one that Cloth & Clay is very proud to call home. Beyond my little space located in the Old Bank Managers Garage, it’s a beautiful boutique event space with so much possibility.

A little glimpse back at a very special day. 🤎

There’s something pretty special about watching a connection that began with a stay at My City Hideaway grow into something like this.

When Ingrid from @clothandclay first came to stay with us almost three years ago, we knew there was a shared love of beautiful spaces, thoughtful details, art, textiles and the stories behind the things we choose to surround ourselves with.

What we didn’t know was where that first stay and the friendships that grew from it might lead.

So to now be collaborating with Ingrid on The Melbourne Edit feels a little bit like things coming full circle.

We love that My City Hideaway has played a small part in Ingrid’s creative story — a place where ideas, friendships and kindred creative spirits have crossed paths. And we couldn’t be happier to now bring a little piece of Cloth & Clay back to Melbourne.

Together with Ingrid and the wonderful @judimorrison, we’ll be creating a beautiful few days filled with considered pieces, creativity, conversation and connection.

Look out a very special collection from our resident artist @parita_thakkar_art too, her pieces are so beautiful.

When friends come to stay, rule number one, video them in the new GREEN kitchen 💚

We still have one thing that needs painting that is annoying the hell out of me… anyone pick up what it might be??

What an amazing Artful Giving event organised by the beautiful Ingrid from @acaciahouse_gunnedah in aid of raising funds and awareness of family and domestic violence. This was an event that brought together many from the Gunnedah community uniting with gorgeous creative energy to bring the arts alive throughout the town.

Congratulations to all involved, you should be so proud.

It’s an honor to see our linen lanterns on display at this special event.

Big thank you to Sarah from @greenpatinahome for sharing this beautiful video.
