Some people are afraid of needles and blood… meanwhile, I made an entire career out of both. 💉🩸😂

The hardest thing to say in aesthetics is “no.”

When you’re a new injector, the urge to please everyone (or the guilt trip from a patient) will test you. But saying yes to the wrong treatment on the wrong patient only leads to one thing: falling flat on your face.

Deep-set, static 11s that need CO2 laser or subcision aren’t going to magically vanish with tox alone. Over-promising and under-delivering will cost you refunds, stress, and your sanity. Protect your license, set expectations, and remember that referring out isn’t failure.

Injectors, what was the first treatment you had to learn the hard way to say NO to?

We are new to this medication. Please share your experiences! Thank u @lesliefletcher_np for teaching us!! You’re the true GOAT.
.
Comment “ Journavx“ and I’ll send you how we dose, order, and I’ll give you our protocol and procedure for our medical practice.

Injectors and aesthetic providers. Listen up:
this medication changed my practice. My patients that have did this medication have felt zero pain with tox, filler, laser, Microneedling snd Sculptra procedures. Zeroooo pain.
.
First new class of oral analgesic in 20+ years. Not an opioid. Not even close.

Journavx (suzetrigine) selectively blocks NaV1.8, a sodium channel found on peripheral pain nerves. The pain signal stops before it ever reaches the brain.

What the data shows:
🔹 Phase 3 tummy tuck trial: beat placebo, matched hydrocodone/APAP
🔹 Phase 4 lap and scope cases with multimodal therapy: 76% went home opioid-free
🔹 No abuse signal in trials so far. Not a controlled substance.

What it doesn’t show (yet):
🔸 Long-term data. Trials capped at 14 days.
🔸 Superiority over opioids. It tied.
🔸 Cheap. It isn’t.

Not a miracle. Just the first real alternative we’ve had in a long time. #

Hair restoration is NOT one-size-fits-all! 🧬✨

PRP is a great foundation (think of it as your fitted sheet 😉), but why stop there when we have so many advanced options to complement it?!

At Amanda Aesthetics, we take a multimodal, customized approach to hair restoration, incorporating treatments like PRP, PDGF+, human birth tissue biologics, PLATED Hair Serum, and Votésse supplements to support scalp health and address concerns with hair thickness, fullness, and overall quality. 🤍

But here’s the important part… not all hair loss is created equal!

Hormonal changes, aging, stress, genetics, medical conditions like alopecia, and even damage can all contribute to thinning hair. And different causes require different treatment plans!

It’s not about throwing every treatment at everyone. It’s about understanding WHY you’re experiencing hair loss and creating a protocol tailored specifically to YOU.

Healthy hair starts with understanding the root of the problem. 🌱

Let’s talk hair restoration! 💉✨

Bestie understood the influencer assignment. 💅🏼 and the girls are influencingggg. 😂

One is @acquired.style … the other is trying to acquire the lifestyle. 😂💅🏼

Brigette may be the professional influencer, but Bestie is convinced she’s just one product tap away from her big break. 🤣🤍

Watch out, Bestie’s influencer era is loading! ✨

what an absolute privilege it is to look back and be embarrassed by an older version of yourself. That means you grew. You learned. You evolved!!
.
The only thing more embarrassing than trying and failing is never trying at all. So cringe 😭😂
.
To all the injectors I met at the incredible HQ Revance conference this weekend in Nashville- you inspired me and I love u all so much!
