Your Skin After Microneedling 🫰🏼

✨Days 1–3: Healing begins! Temporary redness, warmth, and mild swelling may occur.

✨Days 3–7: The surface continues healing while collagen-building cells get to work.

✨Weeks 2–4: New collagen builds beneath the surface. Early improvements in texture may appear.

✨Months 1–3+: Collagen continues to remodel and strengthen, gradually improving texture, fine lines, and acne scars.

✨Best results are gained when completing a series of 4 microneedling treatments with each treatment spaced 4-6 weeks apart 🙌🏼

Your skin keeps working long after the redness fades✨

Adding Hyaluronic Acid filler to lips replaces diminished volume, hydrates the lips, smoothes out fines lines & wrinkles in the lips & supports your facial features altogether 💋. The goal is never to change the natural shape of your lips, but just to refresh them & highlight the beauty that God gave you! If you noticed the small, dark dot on this gorgeous patient’s upper lip, read below for some interesting info about what it is! ⬇️ 🍒

DID YOU KNOW?! Cherry angiomas, which are a common, benign collection of tiny blood vessels that appears as a small, smooth, bright-red to purplish spot or bump, can occur on the lips and/or inside of your mouth in the oral mucosa. These are typically less common than cherry angiomas that appear on other areas of the body, and they do warrant an evaluation by a dermatologist or an oral surgeon to confirm exactly what it is. If a patient has been evaluated by a specialist and the diagnosis of a cherry angioma is confirmed, we can laser it! ⚡️🍒 The dark spot that you see in her upper lip will form into a tiny crust and just fall off! It can sometimes leave a bruise as the blood is dispersed after the laser treatment, but heals quickly and goes away. Small cherry angiomas like the one in this photo typically only take one laser treatment, but larger ones may require more than one treatment. If you have cherry angiomas anywhere on your body that you’d like to get rid of, schedule an appointment via the link in my bio and I would love to see you & evaluate!

Not an easy journey to share, but by sharing my experience I can reach more people that are walking along the same path. Adult acne is a humbling experience… but the only way through is to hunker down and stay consistent.

When Alysha at @injxbar reached out and took me under her wing, I was truly so lost on what to do! My flare up was painful and embarrassing, but I trusted her process and she got rid of the bacteria in my skin and cleared it up with 4 consistent Aerolase Clear laser treatments (I was honestly a little nervous because I’ve never had a laser treatment done, but it was easy peasy).

Per her recommendations, I started a new ✨simple✨ (bless) skinbetter skincare regimen and have been consistently using it for a little over 3 weeks now. After an initial purge, my skin has been so much happier and even glowy 🥹 It’s not perfect yet, but I’m so far from where I started.

I’ve been busy these last few days..⠀
⠀
I came back to Arizona for three very special projects and just finished my last one today! 🥵 I’m going to share each one individually this week and wanted to kick things off with the skeleton bones Christmas tree @injxbar
⠀
Yes you heard that right! We decorated two trees with gothic toned florals, black crows and the bones of an entire skeleton on top of adding ghostly, spooky touches throughout the rest of the office! I’m so excited for her team and her patients to step inside our beautiful, gothic dream..
