We visited during the @mibookhop, what a gem! The inside is bright with moody color. It smelled divine, like candy! Lovely touches throughout the space. New, clearance, and used books, plus games. Tried to make friends with Benny (full name Ebenezer), but he was a little shy. Won him over a little with a treat. Sweet puppy. 🥰

Indie authors 🤝🏻 Local bookstores

I’m lucky to have so many incredible indepenant bookstores so close to home, and here are just a few of my favorites:
@schulerbooks
@wildwoodhastings
@orchardhousebooks
@inkwellarchives
@booksandmortar
@pagesandpeoniesstore
@pagesandgrapes
@dustandblushbookshop

One of my favorite things to do when I travel is check out local bookstores, so drop your state and your favorites in the comments!

🖤🗡️✨

Hi 👋🏻 My name is Sydney Wiswell and I just published my debut romantasy— The Starlight Assassin, and I’m currently working on its sequel, The Crownless King.
If you like found family, forgotten history, and elemental magic, you should probably check it out 👀
And if you like sarcasm, coffee, and all things bookish, we should probably be friends 🤷🏽‍♀️🥰

You know it’s a real book club when… 📚
An hour and a half meeting goes like this:
5 minutes actually talking about the book,
10 minutes picking the next one,
and the rest spent laughing, snacking, and spilling tea 🍷🍪
Because it’s not just about the books — it’s about your people. 💕

Our little village has the cutest bookstore📚@inkwellarchives has the most creative rewards program I’ve seen yet! If you join their Shelf Club, you’ll receive a mini bookshelf that will be kept at the store, and every book you buy will come with a mini replica to add to your shelf. All members receive additional special offers, discounts, and a birthday perk! Did I mention that you receive little plants to decorate your shelf for every 5 books added?!🪴If you’d like to join the fun and add yours to the archives, you can sign up at inkwellarchives.com
